Thea was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her joy for her work shined through in all of our consult phone calls, and I ended up with the wedding cake of my dreams! Thea worked extensively l with me to make my vision come to life. The final cake (a semi-naked tiered cake with mini donuts adorning it) was even better than my inspiration pictures. Better than that, it was absolutely delicious! Friends and family are still asking me to send her information along because the cake was so tasty. I had a small wedding (and got hit with tons of rain from Hurricane Ivan), but the day was still perfect thanks in part to Theas kindness, creativity, and incredible baking skills. I cannot recommend Confections by the Sea enough for your event cake needs!

While most brides may dream about their wedding gown, Im the type of bride that was most excited about my wedding cake! And WOW! Confections by the Sea provided my husband, our guests, and I with the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake Ive ever eaten! We were blown away by the time, attention & care that was given to us for our cake tasting samples. We sampled cakes from a few bakeries and it was evident that Confections by the Sea puts a lot of love and heart into their creations! Our cake flavors were Chocolate cake with an espresso buttercream filling, Almond cake with a raspberry buttercream and an Apple cake with a dulce de leche mousse filling. We had a stunning four tier cake that was designed exactly how I wanted it to look! The cake was so good that our guests inhaled it (lol!!) - literally not a slice was left!! I can confidently and wholeheartedly recommend Confections by the Sea as a wedding cake vendor- They are simply the best!!

We were vacationing in the Cape and trying to pull together a first birthday party for my daughter. Thea was amazing to work with - very responsive, flexible, and accommodating. In short order, she was able to work with me for inspiration, finalizing design, and made easy arrangements for pick-up. But moreover, the cake designs were GORGEOUS and tasted absolutely delicious. They really centered the celebration, making any otherwise casual get together feel special and great for photos! Highly recommend and hope to be back many more times for more July birthdays!
