My experience of selling my home and initially, purchasing a home from agents at this Windermere location was painful, gruesome, manipulative, and it literally made me sick. Said agents explainged things with the minimal amount of context, and it was only after I was caught in the consequences due to the lack of information that I understood it; one agent had a pattern of ignoring my requests for timely, pertintent information, to the point where I had to repeatedly ask for the same information; she did the absolute least amount on my behalf. I had to get a lawyer for guidance and support during this process. In one instance, another agent on the Team went and purchased a $48.00 Carbon Minoxide/Fire Alarm when I already had one, and then threatened to tack on the expense to my proceeds of the sale. I was forced to pay for the item I already had, and they NEVER offered to reimburse me or remove the charge. I had contacted the Windermere Manager at this location and found him to be smug and intractible in his support of his agents. The agents at this Windermere location, in my experience, are driven purely by what's best for them.

(I was not asked to write this review, I genuinely wanted to because I love my office, management and Agents here!) I am an Admin at this office, I have only been here for 4 months and I can't rave enough about the relief and joy I have found being here and restarting my career in real estate. I have worked for three different real estate companies in administrative roles over the years, and this office has by far inspired me to get my real estate licence and be an Agent here. The wealth of knowledge between all the Brokers, is incredibly impressive, and the best part is they share it with each other! This is a huge part of why I want to be a Broker here, Its not an air of internal competition against each other, its more of a community wanting everyone to thrive and get the best for their clients. To go back to being in an Admin role, I'm continuously impressed with the level of respect, positive (and constructive) feedback I receive from everyone here. They keep me busy, but honor my time and energy. I worked in the service industry for 6 years, and If I was a waitress here, I'd feel like every table I served tipped 50%. And if you've ever heard the saying, "you can tell a lot by a person by how they treat their server," this industry is the same by "how they treat their Admin."

My family worked with Susie Hunt Moran and Mila Leissler (Team Moran) on a recent transaction. We were focused on SE Portland had a pretty long list of specific requirements. We closed our deal yesterday, and we cannot say enough good things about Team Moran. They know the city inside and out, are great listeners, and do not waste time showing you houses that do not meet your requirements. Their communication skills are superb; they were always available for questions, responded to messages typically within the hour, and addressed any concerns we had about the deal knowledgeably, calmly, and empathetically. We had several significant issues that arose,the biggest with an underperforming lender who nearly cratered our deal, and Susie solved the problem very quickly, getting us a better deal to boot. Mila was always at the ready to handle a variety of requests from us, quickly and well. There wasnt anything that came up that this team did not handle smoothly and with excellent client service. We were extremely fortunate to work with them as I dont believe we would have closed our deal without them. To top it off, they could not have been nicer to work with! Thank you, Team Moran!
