Spent over $700 for glasses that aren't great. They wanted more money to "make them right". No idea how much more they were going to bill my insurance on top of that. Claimed I had dry eye medical condition so they did not bother to recheck my script on my one free follow up visit. Told me to come back on another visit at which time they asked for another $150. My other previous eye care professionals just told me to use eye drops from drug store. Front desk gal did not want to allow me to even speak with optometrist until I paid first which I refused. Do NOT use this place.
I enjoyed everything about this business from the moment I walked in the door I felt welcome I didnt feel uncomfortable one bit from the receptionist to the doctor to the optometrist everything was great and I got a pair of Michael Kors rose gold glasses for just 20 dollars! We tried to make an emergency eye appointment for my son after researching on our insurance providers website and then confirming on Visual Care Associates own website that they also accept our insurance. We made an appointment with no problem but when we went to show up to her appointment they said that they actually do not take our insurance, despite it being listed on the homepage of their website and confirming with the front desk associate if they accepted it as well. I left work early and hauled my two children there, one who has extreme eye pain and was looking forward to a resolution, for them to tell me that they can't see us, even if we paid cash. How disappointing.
