This is a review to terminate my "working relationship" with this "agency," although I doubt they will see it bc they tend to not notice ANYthing sent to them. For example, when I was first recruited, I had to take a placement test and waited nearly two months before finally calling them for results because they NEVER received my scores, which is an error on their part, not mine. They even ACTUALLY told me *I* need to call CUSTOMER SERVICE to get THEIR software up and running. When I called customer service, they asked me "why are YOU calling?" and proceeded to contact this ridiculous agency, which is what shouldve happened originally. I've had to call the agency MULTIPLE times to keep them up to date with things THEY should be monitoring. From there, it only went downhill and this is the main reason I will no longer be in contact or in favor of this agency. They linked me up for a job with this procurement company and I really liked it....until two weeks into the job I started noticing the atmosphere in the office. People were disappearing, there was alot of whispering but I tried to ignore it and think the best. Fast-forward about two months later and I was the one calling the agency, asking to be transferred to a new site. At first I wouldnt say why because I was trying to be professional, but when Ben (one of the employees at Robert Half) asked me why, I told him the environment was extremely hostile. It had been just TWO months and all of a sudden I was being bombarded with extreme toxicity and emotional abuse that then I realized why so many people had left in such a short matter of time. Some other employees there actually ended up crying because it was just so bad. I had never experienced anything like it and I needed to leave. I told Ben MULTIPLE TIMES that I would appreciate if he kept our conversation confidential so my transition would be smooth and he agreed, however he told me that he would not transfer me and I quote "because it was bad for business. Plus, there may be a long waiting time for another job opening." Robert Half has a contract with this procurement company, and the turnover rate [for the procurement company] was already unnaturally high. So after our conversation I realized Ben wanted me to stay SO THEY COULD STAY IN BUSINESS,--disregarding my emotional well-being. TWO days later and I get a phone call and its Robert Townsend, whoever tf he is, I suppose one of the "head team members", and he asks me how Im doing. Then he says to me that he's heard that there was a little trouble and that he's talked to my boss about her behavior towards me. SO CLEARLY EVERYTHING WAS NOT CONFIDENTIAL. WHO does that?!?!?!? So when the procurement company fires me, Robert Townsend tells me its because I "couldnt handle the stressful environment" even though the turnover rate is higher than Mount Everest, "leadership" there is toxic from the top, and every one of my previous coworkers told me "you're not the problem." He's also laughing with someone else.THEN Robert tells me he's going to hook me up with another agency as well to help me find a job quicker and he'll also set me up with Ferguson. So, okay, what about all that shpeel about "it may take some time to find another job"?!?!?!?!? Again, they just wanted me to stay so THEY could look good when they KNOW they should STOP sending nice people to such an abusive office. So anyway, finally, I took a placement test in November for Fergueson and guess what? It is now February and I havent heard from them. Thats all fine because before I was let go, I had already been job-searching and the week of my firing I already got an interview and by the end of the month I had the job. So clearly I can make my own bones and dont need some ghetto temp-agency such as Robert Half Temp Agency. And as a warning to anyone reading this, if they try to place you with Perfect Commerce/Compro Business Services/ Proactis, politely decline, unless you prefer mental and emotional abuse. In fact, simply do not engage with this agency. Sorry this was so long! :D
