Hello. Our Wireless Internet service is available to any customers within range to our service towers. Our plan pricing is consistent for all customers and does not vary according to location. Our 3 Mbps plan is great for general web surfing, online banking and email usage. If pages or emails are not loading, it may be necessary to call in and report a possible issue. For online activities that require more bandwidthlike visiting graphic-heavy webpages, streaming or working from homeone of our faster plans (8 Mbps and up) is recommended. To be blunt the prices this company charges for their internet services should be against the law. They seem to do exceptional outreach to seniors in rural Texas towns. I have family in their coverage area who are paying $50 a month for 3 Mbps service and not understanding why then nothing loads and maybe they need to spend more money on a new computer, because there is no way this local pillar of the community (or rather the image of this company they get sold on) would ever be taking advantage of them. As far as they can understand they pay for "the internet" so that isn't the problem it must be the computer! If this company was only providing these insanely high priced and unbelievably slow bandwidth solutions to some ranch way out between Cuero and Yoakum or some other remote location with no infrastructure, then that is simply the price of being out in that sort of location and wanting some form of internet connection. But these are the prices they sell seniors on IN TOWNS WITH INFRASTRUCTURE! Do your research before you choose any of their plans. If you are not computer literate, reach out to someone that is. You will most likely find you have much much faster solutions at lower prices than this companies "FASTER" or even "FASTEST" options.

Installed router model that the installer said they had had problems. They had to make second trip to reinstall different router. This caused GVEC extra labor costs and customer much wasted time trying to convence customer service that the router was not working correctly. Solution is simple, dispose all the defective routers.
