Mr. Harder hired us in 2014 at which time he agreed (contractually) to provide access to his web hosting and domain registrar accounts within one week. When we finished designing and developing his website, we were unable to perform the final one-minute migration step -- update his domain records -- because he still had not granted access to his registrar account. We published the site on our server, as a temporary courtesy to Mr. Harder, anticipating he'd share his registrar login within a few days. My team continued requesting the required access. In Mr. Harder's last email reply (November 23, 2015), he wrote, "Ill need a few days to look into it and get back to you." In mid-2017, after providing Mr. Harder two-plus years of free hosting, we removed his site and email from our server. At no charge, we sent him a full website backup and again offered to help him complete the migration. We also retrieved and sent him 2.5 years of emails he had accumulated and stored on our server. Mr. Harder never had a hosting agreement or service agreement with us. He paid a deposit in 2014. We invoiced him in 2015 when we finished building the site. He paid promptly. There were no invoicing issues. We wish Mr. Harder well and regret he feels our service was frustrating.

Nick and his team started off great, but ended up sub-par. I will give them credit for a wonderful graphic designer. They did not transfer my domain to my hosting provider of choice. They had all of the information they needed to do so and were contractually obligated to move the site, yet they let the ball drop. Then they proceeded to remove my site without warning from their developers server, leaving my website unavailable for viewing. This caused 2 hours on a Sunday night trying to figure out how to get the site up and running again and likely another 24 hours before my site is back up. They also failed to provide the monthly invoices required by the contract; that's a story for another time. There are many local companies to choose from. I would recommend not choosing this one.
Nick's group fixed our website problems within one day and for a price well-under the estimate. They even took care of some problems that we hadn't previously identified. We'll be sure to work with them again.
Nick Stone and Charlottesville SEO Web Development did a great job of advising my company about our website SEO. Nick provided a full report about my old website and how to create a new and improved website. After I built the new website I spoke with Nick again on the phone and he really helped me clear up some details. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.
We have worked with Nick and his team for several years now. They have done an excellent job of re-designing our website and driving up our SEO results. They are very proactive, give regular feedback, and do a great job to increase our online presence. Highly recommended!
