Called for service and got a lot off run around You need more techs on for service calls. I went from Saturday til still today Wednesday with no service Was told I would be the first call on Wednesday and it's currently 1 pm and still no service. I work from home so no internet service is a major inconvenience. The call center staff was not helpful at all.

We had WOW internet for several years. The last few years service became increasingly worse, dropouts and slower than paid-for speed. I had to call many times to get them to fix an issue. Working from home, I needed to have consistent internet access all day. We disconnected our service in late March or April 2022 due to moving. We received a box with a return address for the router equipment. The bill for $200 that we received stated that we could be charged as much as $900 if we didn't return all of the equipment as stated in the instructions. After returning the equipment, we then received a bill for $59. The first problem I have with this is that I can't tell exactly what the charges are for. Pretty sure our bill was caught up. The second problem with this is that we just received a letter from a collection agency for the $59. It's been a couple of months since we returned the equipment but didn't realize WOW was so hard up for money. I plan to dispute the bill based on the hours of lost time at work for their terrible service and slower speed than what I was paying for, which they never once prorated. My time is just as important as theirs. In fact, if I were to send them a bill for my lost time, it would be considerably more than the $59 they say that I owe.
