This clinic gave me permanent skin damage. I am a young 30s male and immediately upon entering my first time I could tell the woman running the place, the one you see in all the pictures, wanted me to approach her as if I was hitting on her. No joke. I did not do that. I sat on the couch, filled out the paper work and waited my turn. I was then placed with a lesser esthetician who then decided laser was the correct thing to do on me for my first ever visit. The results were horrible and permanent. I consider this one of the bigger mistakes of my life. Stay the hell away from JTAV if you care about your skin!!!
Hi Tara, We have no record of you as a client but please do come in - we would love to meet you! Also, we do not offer wine in our space, only skin-healthy lemon water and herbal tea. We do really love chocolate, but sadly it makes most of us break out! Please feel free to email our front desk at [email protected] to come in and experience a treatment for yourself!

Good value, friendly staff! They offered a glass of wine and bananas and chocolates on my way out! But place is REALLY small. Feels cramped and not very relaxing. I would still come back BC of the value and quality they put in your service.
Hi Ashley, Thank you for your email. We take our clients concerns seriously and are glad to hear from you. We understand that it can be frustrating to have a misunderstanding such as this. As we mentioned in our correspondence, we are completely transparent about pricing when we people call to inquire. As we offer no treatments at the price that you mentioned, we can say with full confidence that our experienced front desk associates would not give out incorrect information. The average cost of Hydrafacial ranges from $200-$400 in New York City, and your treatment included many other modalities in addition to the Hydrafacial, which is included in our Custom Treatment. We are also happy to review any treatment cost options before your treatment starts, during your consultation, or at checkout. We want you to be thrilled with your experience, but we cannot honor a price that is not correct for our treatments.

I went here for a HydraFacial and asked over the phone before booking how much it would cost. I was told that a custom facial/HydraFacial would be $150, a very normal price for this type of facial. However when I received my receipt over email it was for $450. This is absolutely insane, the facial I received did nothing for my skin, it looks exactly the same minus the extractions that were done. My pores are still the exact same size, nothing noticeable has changed. Nothing. I havent had a facial in years and wanted to simply treat myself to this after a stressful year and was very upset by this. I consistently tried to work with them and have honor the price they said and it went nowhere. UPDATE: Most HydraFacials are about $150, the highest I have ever seen one for is $155, I looked at several places in Manhattan and Brooklyn and ALL were $150 with the exception of one that was $155. I only went to your facility because it was walking distance from my office. Also, as a consumer I have rights and will be discussing those rights with an expert. Regardless, your associate told me one price, $150, as a business (and a human being) that price should be honored. A customer should never be held responsible for the mistake of your associate. Its completely unprofessional to do otherwise. There are hundreds of top rated spas in NYC, no one with any kind of morals wants to go somewhere that doesnt treat their consumers complaints with respect. We are all human and make human mistakes, you associate did just that and Im the one having this type of experience because of it. Its sad that businesses today treat people this way.
