Prior to writing this reply, I think that it is worth mentioning that we did not do business with Anthony. We worked with Anthony and his company to do a series of discovery calls and sent only him a proposal. To Anthony: It was a bummer that we were not able to make something work, but as I mentioned to you in my direct reply through our email conversations, we eventually discovered that we weren't the best agency to fit your needs. It takes a lot for a business owner to turn down an opportunity to help a fellow small business owner. But we simply could not meet your terms because of how our process works. We have a creative director in-house that works closely with our development team. If you take our creative director out of the equation (an integral part to fulfilling our services) then our service offering just does not work. Its like substituting a head coach for a complete stranger right before a big game. We just didnt feel like we couldnt render quality services to you under those circumstances. We invested at least two to three hours on the phone across multiple calls and at least another four to six hours in-house architecting the solution that you were looking for, at no charge to you. So it was slightly disappointing that we were not able to come to an agreement on terms, but Liz, myself, and the rest of our team still wish you the best on your future endeavors, Anthony. To start, I worked with their account manager Liz. She was underwhelming with her inability to answer questions properly about technical pieces of a proposal for a website relaunch; plus she was trying to sell me a web product that wasnt going to work for my needs. I asked for references. I received one good reference and one bad reference who said she had timeline and follow-up issues with them, but I should speak with the advertising/marketing guy, who happened to be owner Jon Teodoro. Jon knows his stuff, but hes much higher on more custom build websites than other companies in the area, and he refuses to let experienced former marketing leaders like myself handle the design aspect of my website by outsourcing it to my OWN creative director whos handled my rebrand by establishing color, font, look, feel, etc. I was also going to handle all of the copywriting and content planning and delivery. He didnt seem to have an issue with this. By doing allowing my own creative director to step in, it would have helped save my small business between $4-$5K his quote for a custom build was already $15K and he said he wasnt budging. I receive two other estimates in the $10K range. He said I could go with one of them. I wouldnt work with this company whatsoever. They might work alright for someone with little to no technical or marketing knowledge but if you have some technical or marketing background steer clear, and youll be happy you did.

I would highly recommend Jon and the Verde Media team if you need a website. From our initial meeting, they took the time to get to know me and understand my business. Throughout the process, they were always available, accommodating to my feedback, and fun to work with. They are passionate about what they do and it reflects in their work. My website turned out exactly how I envisioned it, in fact, even better once I saw the final version and all the attention to details.
