You should tell your customers you want cash and not wait till they get there and charge 3.5% to use my credit card !! This policy should be told in advance bad practice .
I apologize for any misunderstanding with staff and am happy we were able to take care of you and get you a copy of your prescription.

When I first came in the doctor/ owner gave me the wrong prescription. After wearing trials for a week and having major issues I came back and insisted they were incorrect. After having to advocate instead of her just listening we finally got the correct script. Now less than 2 yrs later I have moved to PA. I called to have my information sent to me. First I was told they couldnt send the information because it was expired. I pressed her on this and then I was told that they cannot send it directly to the customer but request has to come from new doctor. When pressed about this she then said that she can send it but it would cost me 25$ to push a button to email me MY RECORDS THAT I PAID FOR. Total scam. Total lies. Total rip-off. Avoid if you can.
Thank you for your review, we always appreciate our patients' feedback. We apologize for any misunderstanding. We have investigated and addressed this situation your family had at the office with staff. Our staff and doctors work very hard to make sure each patient is properly taken care of based on their individual needs. To address your concern about the pricing on the forms, each patient is subject to different out of pocket expenses depending on their insurance plan. We are unable to disclose exact pricing on our patient forms for this reason. We try our very best to quote each patient before their appointment based on their specific insurance plan and exam type. However, this can change depending on the doctor's findings, diagnosis, and recommendations. There are times, such as this, that we quote a range for the contact lens fittings, especially if the patient is new to our office. Unfortunately, we cannot "guess" what our NEW patients' contact lens correction needs are. We would not know until the patient is pretested and then sees the doctor for the examination. For this situation, the costs were disclosed, a price range was given and there was consent to proceed with contacts. Again, we apologize for any misunderstanding.

Multiple problems, mostly with the front desk. I would not come this location EVER again. Their base expense is more expensive than any other clinic I have been to. My husband took my teens there and it ended up being the worst experience. Expect to need to ask every question on every detail before being seen by the optometrist. - poor disclosure of expenses. If a contact fitting cost two different amounts based on a persons eye shape (astigmatism and they wont know until after the exam), BOTH costs should be disclosed prior to the exam so the patient can opt out. - when the front office does not know what their policies on price disclosure is and answer that question with various responses about what tests they do. Never actually answering the question asked. - the forms do not disclose any costs - it was never discussed with my son on why he was getting contacts nor any concern or issues he had. If they had, they would have went a completely different route with products and actually educated him well. Especially since you pay $25 just for being educated on contact use Unless you understand insurance, have worn eyewear and contacts for years, know their base cost, advocate for yourself this is not the place you want to be.
