We paid almost $800 for this fan and it came with a major defect in the metal casting. One of the arms for the lamps is directly in the way of the fan. Essentially there is no way to bend or adjust the arm without breaking the metal and the lamp/fan will not turn. When we asked for a replacement we were told they can not even begin to ship one to us within 24 to 48 hours and we had to repeatedly ask for expedited shipping so it did not take about a month like the original order did. We had to rent a ladder and truck to haul the ladder in order to install this and now we are dealing with this. We asked for a discount and were told that is not possible, which is always a lie. Any company can approve anything, they just have policies to deter or make it sound like they can't. I'm super frustrated for something that is so expensive to have such a major defect. I would avoid Lamps Plus if I were you and go with someone local where you can see it work and exchange it if you need. We made a mistake going the route we did.

I purchased a $250 statue, and they said we don't have a box to put it in for you. I explained for the it would break into my car easily if I just take it like this. So they accepted to wrap it with foam and put in a box. After waiting for about 45 minutes, they brought the statue wrapped in very thin film and a box that was way bigger than the statue! Please see how they wrapped it up! Hilarious! I returned the item before taking it to home!
