Called for an appointment in November, didnt get in until January which is fine, but they had sent the wrong time every time leading up to the appointment and then cancelled it because they wrote the wrong time and I wouldnt be able to get there on time.
I haven't had the best experience with this place so far. My first visit was great, they worked with me to find an alternative to an industrial and were very nice and understanding. However, my problem is the piercer... I was told by another piercer there that they pierced my cartilage too close to my glasses. It has had a bump on it since the first month and I still have the bump a year later. My second visit, I had a really great piercer who came from a different state and told us she only works there sometimes. She was very friendly to me and my boyfriend and made the experience enjoyable, and my daith and conch were pierced well by her. My third visit, I came in for my 2nd and 3rd lobes. I had the same piercer as my first visit. They spent 5-10 minutes working to get the dots lined up perfectly on my ears.... Then they pierced it from the back of my ear which did not seem right to me. They're not even. Me and my boyfriend noticed that as soon as we left. That piercer isn't very sociable either, there was a lot of silence. Unfortunately, I don't know of any better piercing studios in my area, so if I do end up coming back here, I will likely be requsting a specific piercer just to avoid the one I've had bad experiences with.
It was my first time at Dorje and they have blown me away with their friendly staff and wonderful service! Tom was my piercer for that day and was wonderful to work with. He even let me blather while I was nervous! I'll definitely be back again when possible!
I just got my tragus pierced here and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was very nice and friendly, kept things clean, and answered all of my questions. Ive gotten quite a few piercings done before and this was by far the best place Ive gone, I cannot recommend them enough! Will be coming back for my next piercing!
Hey Magdalena, I read your review and decided to do a little research into the situation and to see why we weren't able to meet your needs. According to what I can see it looks like you emailed us yesterday morning requesting an appointment for you to get your daughters nostril pierced and we responded to your email this early afternoon. We sorry that you consider a response time of 24 hours to be "poor communication" and "sub par customer service". Also just to clarify, as is indicated on our scheduling page we are currently booking about 2 months out, not the 3 - 5 months you mentioned. One of the reasons we book all appointments online and only through our website is so we can not only communicate all the required information to our clients, but so we can be as transparent as possible in regards to our current wait times. We are sorry you had trouble with our booking process and felt the need to give us a one star review because of it.

Can only book appointments online, it takes someone 5 days to respond and book out 3 -5 months in advance. Communication is poor at best. I have heard nothing but great things about them for years, but this is sub par service. I wish I had the same experience as my friends did. Ill never go.
