A cozy, but light-filled independent bookstore that packs a lot into its historic downtown storefront. The book selection is excellent, covering local, classic, and modern titles for all ages. And the book-lovers merchandise is exceptional, including some of the best that brands like Out of Print, Fly Paper, Litographs, and Ideal Bookshelf have to offer. If BabyLit is your thing, you'll find several titles here. If Harry Potter items are on your list, you'll have a few to choose from. If you're looking for books on Illinois, they're right up front, with pets and nature just around the corner from them. In the back, you'll find a beverage station and a reading room perfect for sorting through your options before buying or for recharging your book-loving introvert energy before resuming your shopping trip.
