If you are a new patient considering our office for your eye care, please read this reply. One of our (many) goals is to respect our patients' time. We strive to be efficient and not make you wait to see the doctor. To try to stay on time, we ask our new patients to come 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork, copy insurance cards, etc. If you show up more than 10 minutes after for appointment time, you are really 20+ minutes late for your eye exam. This leaves us with the dilemma to see the patient who arrived late, and make every other patient wait 20-+ minutes to see the doctor (for the rest of the day), or ask the patient to reschedule for another day. For the sake of every other patient coming that day, we chose to ask you to reschedule. We sure didn't mean for this to come off as rude (we will discuss this internally), and apologize for any frustration we caused you. We appreciate that you called later that day to try to reschedule for another day.

I had a very bad experience this morning. The staff is very rude. I was late for my daughter appt by 10 minutes which I had called and informed before heading for the appt.They told us to come and they will be able to take us . When I reached ,the front desk lady was very rude and asked to reschedule the appointment. I will never use this practice as they are very rude.
Sorry you had a bad experience with my staff. I am sorry we were confused and not helpful with your insurance. Sometimes your vision insurance company is slow to add you to the computer system. When we put your information into the insurance web site, but you do not come up, we are unable to file claims, or tell you what your plan covers. Our goal is to make your experience 100% positive. I called in to make and appointment and told the receptionist that I had a VSP. I just started a new job and had never been on a VSP. The receptionist was very rude to me and didn't help me at all with my confusion. She kept telling me that I will have to pay out of my pocket when she is listed as provider in my VSP plan. I ended up cancelling my appointment. I cannot comment about the doctor cause I didn't even get to meet him/her.
We try to make your experience easy and hassle free. An eye exam shouldn't take half your day. We try to run on schedule and see you at your appointment time. We feel an appointment is a commitment for both parties, we should be ready to see you at your appointment time. Thanks for taking the time to write a kind review.

Friendly and courteous staff. Dr. Ken was very courteous and explained all my questions in clear and simple terms. There was no pressure to pick out new frames right away. I decided to try this practice for the first time after being very unsatisfied with the service I had gotten at another place. I recommend Preston Optometry.

Locally owned and operated for over 26 years (opened 1995). We are experts in vision care insurance and file claims directly to save you time and money (vs. paying for your glasses and trying to submit your own claim for reimbursement). You get your eye exam and eyewear at the same business to ensure quality communication between the eye doctor and the opticians. 2. We feature unique and designer eyewear for people who want glasses that compliment their sense of style. Our highly trained (and experienced) opticians spend time with each patient to learn their eyewear needs, and spend a take time with each person to find the right fit and style. We often special order different frame colors and styles vs. having to choose what is only in the display case. We carry the newest, latest and best lenses featuring thinner designs, progressive, blue light filtering, anti-glare coatings, and computer specif designs). Our customers appreciate the value of attractive, stylish glasses that help them look (and feel) their best, as well as providing the best quality materials for enhanced vision (such as digital designs). Our frames feature unique designers and budget ranges to fit every need. 3. We are part of the community and give back. By supporting our small, locally owned and operated business, our patients have allowed us to provide eye exam and glasses to over 2400 people in need. I can guarantee you our staff were wearing masks when assisting you. Our policy is for all team members to wear a mask at all times. This is a funny place. The staff doesnt wear a mask when theyre by themselves but makes us wear masks. Not much to see in the eyewear inventory. Go to Costco instead.
