Hello Mr. Niezgodzki, several weeks ago, you scheduled an oil change (you made no appointment for hood painting). When we explained it took 2 days, you said you'd do it another day. Several weeks later you came back without an appointment and wanted your hood painted, we explained it couldn't be done at that time. I understand you've been temporarily transferred to the U.S., from England and purchased this vehicle in New Jersey and may not be familiar with U.S. service operations. We have done nothing to be disrespectful to you and I'm very sorry if there has been misunderstandings. Three days ago you made a hood painting appointment for November 22nd, before you leave for Florida. I have British friends and spend time in England, even though we speak the same language, things are different in our 2 counties, we even drive on the wrong side, but we'll always be good friends. Welcome to America, Best Regards, James Collins. Cheers.

Very disrespectful - scheduled warranty repair - 3 times. Each time I wasted my time and went there to hear that there is some issue and to come back in the week. This place (service) is not even answering the phone - worst dealership I have ever been.

Hello Mr. Brashear, thank you for being a Ford service customer. I discussed this with our service manager Virginia Payne and her shop foreman Jeff Hill. You were not charge $100 for the diagnosis, your total bill was only $103.22, which included a Ford MotorCraft oil change (we also gave you a free loaner vehicle). You had 3 items you wanted us to check out on your 72K mile 2016 Ford Explorer. A gas door which had a broken spring, a passenger door that would not lock properly and a noise in the front end which only occurred when you made a sharp turn. We removed and reinstalled the door panel to inspect the lock assembly, we test drove your vehicle to duplicate the front end noise, and the gas door spring, we had to identify which parts were required to complete the repair (there were multiple parts for the gas door, it's not a simple spring replacement). We could not duplicate the front end noise, and found nothing broken upon lift inspection. The lock assembly and the fuel door you decided not to repair. I understand, from your view point, this all appeared very simple, but our mechanics spent at least least 2 hours road testing, putting the vehicle on the lift (checking the suspension components), looking up the parts on the fuel door, removing and reinstalling the door panel, changing the oil, plus the loaner vehicle. Our mechanics are highly trained Ford Certified mechanics, they spend hundreds of hours becoming Certified, and then spend additional hours each year retraining to maintain that Certification. I don't believe you could go to any Ford dealership in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio or Tennessee, and have them do all the things we did, plus a loaner vehicle, for $103.22. I would add a further note, be careful when you go anywhere else for repairs. Best Regards, James Collins.

Be very carful with the service department. They will try and charge you $100 to diagnose one issue. They charge per issue! They do not tell you upfront. In my case they said they didn't know what the cost of repair was till they started the work. They wanted $100 for that!. I'm not against being charged. But they should let the customer know up front. You've been warned.
