Not super happy that the last 2 times I've been the Tropical house has been closed.. and prior to last week it was 3 years ago. And really you charge an extra 5 dollars for the stingray exhibit and we were with a school group and didn't know this prior so my son paid for 4 people and my hubs and I passedthat should have been relayed to the schools!!!!
I was excited to take.our daughter to the zoo for the first time. She really enjoyed the open petting farm area! The flamingos were her favorite to see! But we were very disappointed they had the bird/forest area closed due to the bird flu. that's my favorite part to visit and I know she would have loved it. The line for feeding the giraffes was way too long. Also I feel at the prices they charge already to visit the zoo, we shouldnt have to pay extra to feed giraffes or visit the sting ray area. It was still a good trip and she had fun seeing all the animals in real life.
Great experience! Lots to see here, including the new stingray exhibit for an additional charge ($5 to go in +(optional) $2 to feed them) Super neat!!!
I always have an exciting time at the zoo, I have a family membership and use it frequently, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Today 5/30/22 I had the worst customer service experience. The individual who was checking memberships at the entrance had a poor attitude. She was short with me and my family, I felt rushed and talked down to. Im very upset because I know the zoo strives for excellent customer service, and I did not receive that today.
