Hillary, I am so sorry that you didn't get the experience that you anticipated. I really do appreciate your feedback and am sad that you and Alaine didn't enjoy your time with me. As the owner of Wine Tours of Sedona, I strive to offer every customer an extraordinary tour experience. That's why I do what I do to offer extraordinary tours so you go home with an extraordinary memory of your time with us. Because of the private nature of our tours, and the personalization that we offer, yes you were scheduled for a vineyard tour, but upon learning your wine interests were of more sweeter wines, we offered to take you to the tasting rooms of Old Town Cottonwood instead, which you both agreed to. At no time did you tell me that you were interested in seeing the actual vineyards even if the wines weren't most suitable for your palate. With every tour, we do our best to showcase the wines that meet the tastes of our customers. At now time during the tour did I know you were unhappy or wanted to see an actual vineyard, because had you made the request if would;d have been accommodated without question. Many of our customers choose to wear masks, which I fully support, you doing what is good for you. But to be honest, I can't breath well when wearing a mask, so I prefer not to be forced to wear one, especially when I'm driving and want to be 100% for you, my valued customer. If you had said, "please wear a mask" I would have done so. Regarding the photos, all the photos I took of you both, yes were on my phone which were Airdropped to you immediately after the tour. At no time did you even ask me to take a photo with your phone. The reason I didn't offer to take them on your phone was because I didn't think you wanted me to touch your phones that you then put close to your face. I was actually trying to be sensitive to your COVID comfort levels. Again I really appreciate your feedback. For I strive to be the best guide that I can be which includes being sensitive to my customers in these crazy times. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your tour, for I remember you and Alaine laughing and enjoying all the wines and experience.

We booked the multi vineyard and winery tasting experience. On the companys website it states you get to tour two vineyards. However, we went to a chocolate shop and two tasting rooms, where the tour guide sits with you during your tastings. We did not go to one vineyard. You do not get what is advertised or what you pay for! Save yourself the money and get an Uber to the tastings and enjoy your tastings on your own. Additionally, our guide was very unprofessional. He made us uncomfortable asking him to wear a mask by stating he would reluctantly wear one. When we took our masks off for our tastings, he made comments about how it was nice to see we had smiles. The lack of hygiene was also apparent. The complimentary photos are photos the guide takes on his own phone. He never offered to just photos on our own phones. I do not recommend booking with this company!
Jessica, as the owner of Wine Tours of Sedona & Sedona Red Rock Adventures, I believe you have my company mistaken with another tour company that consistently does have an attitude with their customers. I love what I do, the customers I get to serve and share Northern Arizona majestic red rocks as well as delicious wines. That's why I do what I do is because of my passion for Arizona. From what you are talking about, you were probably talking with Keith at Verde Valley Vineyard Tours and he was trying to refer you to his son's company. This review is in no way reflective of an experience you had with Wine Tours of Sedona for we do not have a sister wine tour company. I am sorry to hear you had this experience with another company in the area and wish you to have an extraordinary time while here. If you give my company a chance, I will be happy to throw in a complimentary bottle of wine as a token of good faith in my desire to offer you the best tour possible.

I called to check availability for a vineyard tour. From the minute the person called me back, he had an attitude. I asked if there were any tours available tomorrow. He said yes. Then said let me give you a phone number. He said let me give you a phone number. I told him I was confused because I called the number on the website, and he proceeds to tell me that they are booked, but their sister company can take us. He then proceeds to get irritated I dont have anything to take down the number (I wasnt expecting to do so on this call!) and talked over me when I asked the name of the other company. All this to say, I didnt even book with them and think their service deserves one star. Obviously for the best that we didnt go with them!

Hi Vicky, This review comes as a large surprise, given that we just spoke via telephone and you said that you and everyone in your party had a fabulous time. I'm sorry that you feel that your experience was too expensive. I would caution against your suggestion to others of drinking and driving, or "googling" and driving, as the safety of our clients, and everyone else on the road, is of paramount importance. Drinking and driving would be extremely careless, similar to leaving your soiled personal effects in our vehicle, which we hand delivered to your accommodations that evening, without so much as a thank you. I'm sad to say this because I had such high expectations. Our guide was wonderful but paying $600 for 3 spaced out tastings was definitely not worth it. We could have Google and driven. Felt a little misled and robbed. Do your research and pay for your $45.00 tastings on your own. The different wine tastings hists give you all of the wine education anyway.
