I honestly wish I could write a good review here, but I cannot. The defense and other attorneys at Dexter Law may be phenomenal, but Jennifer Percy was not when it came to my divorce. Significant issues arose because of her failure to reply, communicate, pass along information, show up at appointments (or even acknowledge that she had missed them), and offer what I would consider even the basics of sound legal advice. She may have had an unreasonable workload, but I would never know because even getting her to acknowledge that you've reached out, even months later, is virtually impossible.

My husband has been diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and Dexter & Dexter took advantage of someone who has been deemed as incapacitated by 3 medical professionals. The latest Dr Adams who found that he needed to have another neurological test in January of this year and he could not enter into a contract by himself and I still needed to watch his finances. But Dexter & Dexter did not care when he told them he had fallen 42 feet and he cracked his skull, tore his aorta into his heart, he broke his back, and shattered his wrist. But they didn't care or listen to his needs so I took him to another firm. They actually work and help my husband. Now they won't return my husband's money. They did nothing for him or worked on his case at all. I guess that is worth $400 dollars. Update they had an incapacitated person sign an agreement when in January Dr. Adams said I was incapacitated still but because of covid they could not give me another neurological assessment. She said that I need a legal guardian to assist me until such test can be given. The partner called me and my wife and said that they would return the $400 to me and guess what it still has not come. I went and printed the neurological report that proves I am incapacitated and need assistance and I am going to take it to the Office of Professional conduct OPC and show them they signed into a contract with an individual who had a tramatic brain injury. All because they didn't want to return my $400. I gave them plenty of time. The put on the electric sign they are great Mormons supporting byu football. But they take advantage of people medically deemed as incapacitated. When a neurological report shows when measured and compared to healthy age peers defects within aspects of executive functioning and limitations involving verbal memory retrieval. Stay care of Dexter & Dexter they are not what they show they are. Their head of the office told my wife and I to sue them.

I wish I could sum up my very poor and unsatisfying experience with Jennifer Percy at Dexter and Dexter Law in a few short sentences. But the phrase that comes to mind is, completely unavailable, flippant and did not give our case any urgency. Because of her lax behavior, my ex's lawyer was able to approach us with a request for mediation instead of the OTHER way around. Countless emails unanswered, dodging phone calls, giving us the run around, but did not fail to try and get more money out of us. Acted completely unbothered by our frustration and ignored us still when we gave an ultimatum. If you want your money to be abused and used for personal gain, go to Jennifer Percy. She is the best person to ignore your needs and never respond to your concerns. Because of her, my ex was able to remove my child from school TWICE in the last two weeks instead of filing an immediate injunction and actually getting on the damn phone with us to have a proper conversation. COMPLETELY unprofessional.
