Hi Ryan. The Contact Lens Fitting Class is optional. You do not have to do it, if you know how to wear contacts. Your eye exam prescription is different from the pupillary distance. The doctor gives you your prescription, which we did give you. The opticians measure your pupillary distance only when you get glasses from the store.

Friendly enough, but they will want to charge you $20 for tips on putting contacts in. And though I told them I wanted a glasses prescription to order a pair online, they refused to share with me my pupilary distance unless I bought their glasses. They say no one will provide that measurement without a purchase of glasses, but my 2 roommates had no trouble getting their measurement from Costco or Walmart to order online. Be careful what you pay for!

I travel from Prescott to see Dr Rokowski every year (120 miles). He is fabulous and takes at least an hour examining my eyes. I have been going to him for almost 20 years. I met the owner of Vision Optics last year (Sam) when the doctor moved from East Mesa to Scottsdale. The lens that Sam ordered were very thin compared to the last pair I got. My eyesight is very bad in my left eye. I dont feel like Mr Magoo with the new lenses Sam ordered. I highly recommend you go to Vision Optic for eye checkup and contacts and glasses.
