These guys are on point. I highly recommend the switch. EDIT: They WERE on point. After a couple of years, their servers started to stagnate and constant malware/malicious attacks were being detected. Despite us being on one of the higher end products. The site periodically had downtime (our set up was absolutely fine, we hired a WP development and maintenance firm to confirm it was the host), emails were bouncing and speeds were poor. Tech support kept bumping us to more RAM for a day or two. The last straw was when I realised we had malicious attacks from ANOTHER account on their servers, attempting to sign into our WP set up with nonexistent usernames. I have screenshots and email trails with Tech Support. In the end I emailed them to cancel the account as we had made a switch to another host. We are extremely happy with speed, security and lack of malicious attacks. Our emails are actually being delivered instead of being caught in spam filters since the switch. Since the email to Nimbus, they have not cancelled the account and continue to email us invoices. I reached out to them to bring to their attention we haven't even been using their servers and had sent an email to them to cancel but they said they didn't receive it and we have to pay the "outstanding" invoices. Not to mention they continue to bill us even after reaching out to them. I'll continue to post this experience across all relevant forums until they cease billing us for services not used. TLDR; From highly recommended to highly disappointing.

Hi Charlotte, We are very sorry that you feel this way, especially as a long-term valued client. As discussed, we looked into this for you and could see that you had the discussion with us to reduce costs in 2018. We reduced your environment and all services to our smallest possible package and at the time you did not inform us that your website was being moved to another provider, or that you wished to cancel. From this point onwards, you have never raised any issue with the hosting. It has only come to light that your website was not live on your server when your agency advised you that they host it for you. If you had informed us at the time that you had moved your website away, as well as your email, we would have cancelled the server for you We would be more than happy to discuss this again over the phone.

We are a tiny charity who have been with Nimbus for years. Up until this week we have naively been happy with the service. This changed when we realised we have been overpaying since March 2018. Without going into detail (its complicated) please ensure that you ask Nimbus clearly to look into your account and confirm all fees are 100% necessary. We cancelled some of our services to save money in March 2018 but were not informed that others on our account were also unnecessary. Given the subject matter of our conversations, this was unbelievable. With no IT department we have to rely on the good will of the companies we deal with. Nimbus have confirmed they will change their practices going forward but did not offer a penny of compensation to the charity. We did not expect this from an organisation who, until now, gave the impression that good customer service was a core objective.
