Harrison I am sorry that you have had an experience in our store that you were unhappy with. We do from time to time do alterations on outside garments as a favor to our clients however, we have had many requests for such services lately and have had to tighten our policy. We would like to take care of everyone in our community but are simply not setup as a tailoring shop. Richie, who you interacted with, was distraught that the two of you werent able to find a common ground in your conversation. I was called while on business in New York immediately after you walked out of our door by him to inform me of your visit. I am always available at 812-323-7730 to discuss issues regarding any services Andrew Davis falls short on and urge you to call if you care to discuss further. Visited Andrew Davis for the second and final time today. I went in sometime last year and to have some dress pants hemmed and they did a great job; very polite and professional, explained the whole process to me, and gave me a very reasonable price. However, I went in today to have another pair of dress pants hemmed and to see if they could "help me out" (my exact words to the gentleman that greeted me) with a hole in the back of some AE chino pants. As I was putting on my dress pants, the younger gentleman that greeted me asked his supervisor/manager about the chinos. I overheard the manager say that they are "not that kind of store" and if I was going to treat them like some "cut-rate sewing shop" (not his exact words, but something to that extent), that he "doesn't want that [kind of business] in the store." I decided to put my street clothes back on, exit the dressing room, explain to the manager that I wished to take my business elsewhere, and do exactly that. The manager l, instead of simply apologizing, attempted to defend himself and say "that's not what I meant." Bottom line (tl;dr): I understand that Andrew Davis might not be willing to accept a job for clothing I didn't buy from them, but I would have greatly appreciated A) a recommendation for a reputable alteration shop, and B) to be politely treated like a customer. I am very disappointed, as my first experience here was outstanding and I am fully supportive of supporting local businesses, but unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Max shopped with us once in 2017. He now works for an extremely aggressive credit card processing company named Transnational Processing that has been harassing our business for over 12 months. They have been asked repeatedly to stop contacting us via email and phone by me and our office manager. He harassed us again this morning and after asking him to stop calling us I ended the phone call. He immediately called back with an even more aggressive tone and was told to lose our number permanently, that we would never do business with his company. One hour later he posted this review about our family owned business that prides itself on taking care of everyone politely and professionally.

I have never been disrespected so much in my entire life than I have by their general manager MACY. He is obnoxious and rude to customers. I wouldnt wish my worst enemies to have to deal with him. Do not patron at this business. I wish I never gave them my money. Way overpriced too.

I can't say enough great things about this place. I bought a custom suit from Andrew Davis to wear for graduation. Macey and all of the staff were helpful, insightful, and extremely easy to work with. They took the time to guide me through the process of "building" a custom suit, timed it perfectly so that my suit was ready for the big day, and made sure I got a great product that didn't break the bank. Every time I dealt with them, I felt like their most important customer. This will be the first place I look for suits in the future, and it should be your first place to look, too.
