This first part is not against the airport, but does play in later. United airlines rebooked a flight for me after canceling the flight I booked. The new flight had ~35 minutes difference between the arrival and departure flights; the arrival was 11 minutes late. Arrival gate was something like c85, 86, 87 Idk it was downstairs though. I needed to be at c115 which is not at all close to where I arrived. On my speedy walk I wanted to confirm so I asked a united representative from which gate was the 0640 flight to RDU. I was informed it was c88, fml, back I go. Well, c88 was to Puerto Rico. That gate agent told me c something upstairs and that too was not correct. C115 was correct all along. My mistake was trusting others. I asked for a shuttle to help me make the flight (I have issues with my knees and feet). I was denied due to no shuttle being available. Could you radio ahead that I am on my way... Nope. The radio was for internal use only. Fml. Long story short, I made the flight but barely. Poor passenger next to me had to deal with my big old sweaty body for a while. I apologized. Was my first time in New Jersey and sadly I had all preconceptions validated: folks are rude there. For all airports: stop price gouging for crying out loud!!
