I very, very rarely post reviews of any kind. However, this restaurant, its service, and its food was particularly atrocious. First, this “Italian” restaurant’s boasts a decore that acts as a facade to its lackluster, unappetizing, cold, uninspired, stale, old food. That is, while the decor is nice, albeit resembling a suburbia steak house, it is incongruent with the food it serves. Second, the service was terrible. Not only were we disturbed almost every 2 minutes, the staff smelled bad, could barely speak English, and clearly could not pick up on social cues. Specific points of dislike: the Moscow Mule was horrendous, the pasta dishes old, and the Bufula extremely salty. Seriously, Olive Garden would have been a better choice.
Had a very enjoyable meal while in town for work. Our group enjoyed a variety be of apps and each entree was large and delicious. Food was so good. Call for a reservation we were walk-ins and had a wait even midweek. It was worth the wait.
Overall the good was solid but nothing super amazing. Portion sizes we pretty small it was tasty! Service was kind. We were seated upstairs and it was very loud. We were there during lunch so it was busy but it was still pretty difficult to hear people even sitting next to you.
We ate here on new year's eve, we had the new year's eve 4 course dinner for $75 each person at 8pm. I am sorry to say, my husband and I were not impressed. I had the shrimp cocktail for the antipasti, the shrimp tasted like previously frozen from any grocery store and the salad it came with was sub-par. Our waitress actually did not even come to our table until we spent 20 minutes starring at our menus. The waitress apologized for us waiting and said there was a mess up in tables she was serving. Long story short, the servers kept bringing us incorrect food plates... Instead of our main he brought dessert. And then wasn't provided with cutlery for our main, and had to wait for that too. Waitress brought our drinks to the wrong table. At the end, when the waitress brought our check, she said to us, ready for the damage? At the end...the waitress didn't wish us anything, I wished the waitress a happy new year. I rarely write reviews but this was supposed to by my new year's eve dinner, and you guys really dampened it. Also at $75 per person, truly the service and food should be impeccable for a memorable experience...i felt this fell short. We had Christmas dinner at Luke in New Orleans 2017, and spent half as much there, and honestly I loved it there. The waiters there were so attentive and the experience was lovely, food was truly fresh and hot on the plate. We will not visit 312 again.
