I went to Good looks on 12/28/2017 for my first appointment and from December 2017 - March 2018 I did not get any contacts because the receptionist had no clue how to do anything, the doctor kept ordering different contact and instead of ordering a few at a time, she ordered one until I requested she ordered more. I was driving a little over an hour for each appointment. My last appointment was March 3, 2018. I called the day before to see if my contacts arrived, was told no, got a call back saying yes, got to appointment next day and knew something was wrong when I was sitting in the room longer than normal. Doctor asked me if someone called me or if I just showed up, huh???, I've made appointments since day one, why would I drive over an hour without an appointment not knowing if I could be seen?? Well, apparently the wrong contacts were ordered. I expresses my disgust, the amount of gas money I paid to get to all of these appointments and now I have nothing in 5...5...FIVE months!!! Completely disorganized. I should have been offered a free box of correct contacts for the inconvenience they caused. I asked for a refund and was refunded for the contact price and left completely annoyed. I wish I could find a job that paid me well for doing NOTHING. Never again!

Cliff, thank you for the honest review. When we bought Good Looks we wanted to clean the appearance up and remove all of the advertisements, stands and marketing materials. We switched a majority of the factory companies out for small independent companies as we do in all our locations. By doing so we were able to keep the same number of frames but improve on quality and open the space to allow room for families to bring their kids in for exams and for events where employees can all comfortably fit and bring spouses. While these changes are only meant to improve our impact on the community and our patients, we realize that returning patients, not accustomed to our model, may not recognize the business they once visited. We are small, Raleigh owned and strive to make TEI the best optometry practice in the area. Every patient matters, every employee matters and our community matters. I will personally see that your concerns after your visit are addressed and solved. I've bought three pairs of glasses from this location. Best selection and service I've ever had. Unfortunately those people apparently sold out to these people........maybe half of the selection, no apparent interest in the fact that I was a repeat customer and definitely not the specific sport glasses that I needed. They suggested I go to another store. These guys have a long way to go.

I was LONG OVERDUE for an eye exam and found Good Looks was close to my home AND under my insurance plan. It was too good to be true and my experience was wonderful! Dr. Christensen was very detailed and honest throughout my exam and Larry was so helpful (super sweet!) in finding the right pair of frames for me. I left with confidence knowing that I was in the right hands going to Good Looks.

My wife had something in her eye Friday evening, tried flushing to no avail. Saturday morning at 9:40 am I called here and they were able to work us in for 10:40 am, which is pretty impressive. Even more impressive was the friendliness of the staff and Dr. Poirier, who quickly removed whatever it was and recommended a brand of eye drops, as well as giving us a free sample until we could buy them. Excellent service here, from everyone involved. We'll be recommending this place to all of our friends.
