Worst hotel I've ever stayed in and I've been to hundreds of them. Loudest room ever, I could literally hear the neighbors breathe and they left TV on loud all night, had to call front desk 5 times at 3am, speak to a rude receptionist until they did something about it. No snacks in the room, no mini bar, no room service menu. They advertise the hotel as rooms with "great views", mine was a mini window facing a garage wall. And their "gastro pub" is a bland sports bar with zero atmosphere. Elevator takes forever to come up, I eventually had to go down the stairs with luggage after waiting for 15 minutes to find out at check out that there's an "amenity fee" for wifi that they never gave me a password for. Sounds like a joke, it isn't sadly.
Too little space for too much money AND you have to pay EXTRA to even get WiFi (it also includes water and some other trivial things that you can get for free anywhere else...) That's not even the worse part as I understand that hotels, for some people, aren't about space/commodity, but the bathroom is something that at least should be relatively spacious and the ratio from toilet to sink to bathtub is so little that it is possible to brush your teeth while you're sitting doing your business ON the toilet and get into the shower thereafter without having to really touch the floor. Really, it's that small. Great location as you can walk easily to the Bayside area, but not if you plan on coming in your own car (because you have to pay for parking, too. Nowhere near to park unless you want to pay $3/hr to park in front of the hotel.) Staff is rude and barely speaks English and there's always bums and other very colorful characters hanging outside the hotel whistling at you.
Don't believe everything you read because there comes a time in ones life where you have to take a chance. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I will return again and again.
I stayed here in 2013 for two nights before my cruise, there was 3 of us with two double beds in our room it was really clean, there was plenty of space and the staff was really friendly and everything was easy to get to, that is why we are going back there in october, would recommend it to anyone
Very small rooms. Bad WiFi coverages. No fridge nor drawers. Valet parking costs $30 per day. Small gym. No pool. Not good experience for people who want to enjoy Miami for first time. The good things about this hotel is the location in downtown, housekeeping and average breakfast buffet that is not free!
