When we arrived at the Eye Institute and checked in we were told that that the appointment was for my husband only. I spoke to Sara the Patient Care Supervisor who wasnt willing to be accommodating or too friendly as a patient care supervisor. I explained to her that I always make our appointments together and never had this issue before. Not to mention that I made the appointments three months prior. However, she wasnt willing to allow both of us to be seen on the same day and since I had scheduled time off from work I took the appointment and my husband has to go back next week. She mentioned that she was going to pull the tape of my call, however I didnt hear back from her. This woman doesnt know much about professional customer service. The only reason I gave two stars is because the medical staff and the gentleman that help me order my glasses were very professional and nice. Ive been coming to this location for 20 years and never had an experience like this. What happened to THE REAL PATIENT CARE??

The team here has taken very good care of me every single time I have an appointment. There were two major issues I had with my eyes and both times I had the best care. Highly recommend!
Ms. Davis - We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced. Due to COVID, appointments were set up at the Chestnut Hill office to to prevent overcrowding. I've been a customer of the Eye Institute for several years. When I went to the Chestnut Hill location to select and purchase eyeglasses, recent prescription in hand, I was told that I now had to make an appt. I was given a business card w/the number to call. I called several times, w/no callback till 4 days later. A message was left that I DID NOT need an appt. as long as I had my prescription. When I returned the call, 3 minutes later, I was again, not able to speak to anyone. I will go to the Godfrey Avenue location, but the Chestnut HIll location is much closer, and I'm afraid that I'll be turned back, again. I tried contacting them on their website w/an email message, but the options offered for the reason for the appt., did not include eyeglass selection and purchase. I am disappointed. Really poor customer service...
