Been here the few times but always have problem with receiving medical records and receipts. It seemed the medical assistants have no idea how to send out client’s request and always need to beg the front desk to receive whatever we need. Not even mentioning the front desk changes the profile numbers when we didn’t ask her too. Also with their promotions, email received and on the website indicate 15% dental cleaning but never mentioned that exam is required. Doctors are nice but the entire team seemed have no idea how to maintain relationships with clients and blame everything on their corporate rather than actually solving their own problems.
Kandi, Leptospirosus, unfortunately, showed up in many areas of Arizona including N Phoenix, N Scottsdale, Cave Cree and Show Low all within the same time frame. We understand how frustrating this must be for you and your pet. In late September, a dog was at our facility who approximately a month later was diagnosed. As soon as we were made aware of this on Oct. 31 we immediately took action to notify our client base. We sent out three health alerts via email to all of our clients, encouraging them to get their pet tested and vaccinated. We also notified other veterinarian clinics in our area so that the local medical community could stay informed. We immediately changed our vaccine requirements to require that all of our resort guest dogs have a current leptospirosis vaccine. The occurrence of Leptospirosus was a surprise for all of us and we believe we were very proactive in handling the situation.

My dog conracted a serious virus there and I was not informed for over 30 days. As I talk with medical professionals, they tell me there was an outbreak from this place that could have been avoided if they had only told people when the first dog was diagnosed. I am suing, I want all my vet bills covered and I would suggest to anyone else whos dog got this virus"lepto" to do the same. This was the most neglegent case I have ever seen. And there is a vet at the facility who is very familiar with the seriousness of this disease. Bad place. My dog has been quarantined for 30 days and has another 30 to go. Oh did I mention it is deadly if not treated?????

The staff at this Pet Report are very careful to make sure all of your pets' needs are met. Just allow extra time when dropping off and picking up because they have lots of paperwork for you and the office is busy. They are very attentive and I feel comfortable having them take care of my furry baby.
Dear Rachel, We are very sorry to hear that Peaches' gastrointestinal issues worsened. We tried to reach you by phone last week, but since we haven’t heard back, we wanted to ensure that you received our response. First, we would like to apologize for the delay in communicating Peaches’ fecal results. We strive to get these results back to clients as soon as possible and we apologize that you did not receive the results sooner. Fortunately, Peaches’ fecal result came back negative so we know that she does not have any parasites for which she should have been treated. Our doctors will typically wait for fecal results to come back and treat the illness symptomatically in the meantime, especially when antibiotics can contribute to gastrointestinal upset. We have had excellent results with the prescription therapeutic diet which resolves gastrointestinal upset quickly. Additionally, we checked Peaches’ blood for more serious conditions such as anemia and thrombocytopenia which were fortunately not indicated on Peaches’ results either. We also administered subcutaneous fluids to help with her vomiting and diarrhea. We want to ensure you know we take cleaning and sanitizing all areas very seriously, and this does include wiping counters and mopping floors (among other things) multiple times a day. All of our exam rooms are sanitized thoroughly between patients and our common areas. Thank you for providing your feedback about your experience. We take any concern seriously and strive to always improve. We hope that Peaches is feeling much better. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss this further.

Overall I am extremely upset and dissatisfied with my whole experience. From the start I needed to leave town last minute and had no other option but to board my three year carin Terrier mix here. She was a couple of weeks expired on her vaccines so needed to come in and get her vaccines done. Noticed that no cleaning or sanitary precautions were taken when I came in to get her first round of vaccines done on the medical side. And came back the second day to drop her off and more or less had her ripped away from me. Once I received her back she seemed overall happy to be back home. But within 24 hours of being home after two days of boarding she was extremely extremely sick which shocked me and scared me considering she has a full bill if health and had never had any issues her whole life. So I took her back to the medical side and she had a fever of 105 with bloody diarrhea and vomiting and she was extremely lathargic. The vet gave her an IV to bring the fever down and blood panel that was inconclusive. They sent me home with a bag of dog food and no medication or vitamins…… nothing!!! Just a bag of dog food and hope for the fecal sample results!! Paid almost $500 for this vet visit and close to $400 just to have vaccines done and to board her!!They also took a stool sample. Which I’m beyond mad about considering it is 4 days later and have been calling and calling to get my results back and they keep telling me they will call me back; and never do. Her condition got much much worse within 24 hours of visiting the medical side which I then had to rush her to a 24 hour medical care. And couldn’t take her to Raintree considering they are closed on sundays. The new vet was beyond shocked they didn’t give her a simple antibacterial medicine for her condition. She now is coming back to better health. But was disgusted and overall disappointed and the lack of care and concern for my beloved dog that I consider my child. They never gave me my results to my fecal sample; let alone called me and checked in on Peach’s condition. Just surprised me considering she most likely got sick because of this uncleanly medical/boarding facility. She had life threatening symptoms and there was no care at all! If you truly love your dog; do not take them here because floors were never mopped, counters were never wiped down, and masks are not worn by care professionals. Just shocking considering it’s a medical facility in the time of a pandemic. NEVER take your dog here!!
