Hi Carol. I am concerned that you called our practice and there was no answer as we have a voicemail that allows you to leave a message. We are a small practice, and it states that if our staff is with a patient or on the other line then leave a message and we will return your phone call. We only see patients by appointment and don't offer emergency services so that message also refers to a 24 hour emergency hospital and gives the address and phone number. In case the phone number you dialed is wrong, our number is 602-931-5869 if you need help with a pet or a referral. Dr. Lowrance
Mr White this review is for the wrong company. We are Small Animal Housecalls not the Monle Vet, and we don't have an RV. This review has nothing to do with our company Small Animal Housecalls.

Expensive The Monle vets are Friendly. Answered all my questions. I paid $400 upfront to have them come to the RV. They took the urine sample from the side of my cat. The second visit was $50 for a refill of medication. I was denied a3rd visit for a refill of medications as they wanted to charge for another moble house call. MyCat died 2 months later of renal failure. Very slow sad painful death I had to it Him down by taking Him to the shelter. the new receptionist is rude.
When your dog lets you know "it is time," this service is the most awesome alternative. Going to a Vets office is very stressful for even the most laid back pet and when they are dying, the stress is just overwhelming. Dr. Amanda Varney and Jason came to our home and gently, lovingly and respectfully eased our lab Fletcher over that Rainbow Bridge. He was laying in his favorite spot on our bed and my husband and I laid on each side of him and talked to and petted him. Dr. Varney was super kind and told us everything before she did it and explained what to expect at each stage of the ordeal. After Fletcher slipped away, Dr Varney and Jason covered Fletcher and gently eased him on to a stretcher and carried him to their vehicle. We opted for individual cremation so in approximately 2 weeks Jason will return Fletcher's ashes to us. This is such a difficult time in a pet owners life and I don't think it ever gets easier but Dr Varney certainly made the details easier to deal with. I have several older dogs and i will use this service for each of them as their time comes. Bless you Amanda and Jason for reducing some of the stress in such a horrible situation. Both for we humans and our beloved dog. RIP Fletcher ... good dog.
I don’t even know where to start with our recent interactions with Small Animal Housecalls, they have been so amazing. We had an appointment last week when we wanted to make sure we were taking the right steps with our old, declining dog. They were very informative and compassionate throughout the whole visit. We called them on Sunday evening letting them know that it was time to let our furry child move on and they called back first thing, bright and early on Monday morning with availability to help us that day. They are very very professional and knowledgeable, and I highly recommended them for your animals.
When I called, I was assured that your vets were comfortable with large breed dogs. It was clear that the vet was not comfortable with him. The scale they bring is not big enough for a dog that big to get on, so the whole appointment started off badly with everyone trying to get him to fit on the scale. When she lifted his tail to take his temperature and he looked at her, she said he was being aggressive. Just looking when someone touches his tail is not aggression. Trying to get me to put a muzzle on him when he is not used to it just made the whole situation worse. I honestly blame myself and should have told them to leave. They do not understand the difference between mouthy behavior and actual aggression. When my dog leaned on the vet tech, she was surprised. Anyone who has been around a mastiff breed knows that they lean.
