Came here for the first time and my experience at first was great. The assistant that did my pre-exam intake was very nice. The place was very clean and they had technology I did not see at my previous eye doctor. I had my visit with Dr. Tam and I felt like she was rushing and extremely dismissive of my symptoms. She told me my dizziness I experienced was not optometry related and said I was indecisive about the correct lenses while she was doing my exam. First off, she switched between the lenses really fast, literally going from lens 1 to 2 in .001 of a second (like I said she was rushing), and it takes my eyes some time to adjust so I had to ask her to switch back to the previous lens. I also felt as though I wasn't able to ask questions because the responses I received were very short and almost demeaning. I am not coming back here, I don't appreciate how dismissive Dr. Tam was and also, how I felt like I wasn't able to ask questions without getting an annoyed response.

I *hate* going to the eye doctor, so I put it off forever. And finally I made an appointment, and I wasn't disappointed. This office is a little quiet oasis compared to Costco, where I had been going. They have strict covid precautions, and you call before you go inside. They do tests in one room, including taking a picture of my eye vs the puff test, and then took me back to another room to see the doctor. I explained that I have sensory issues and getting new glasses is difficult for me because it's hard for me to adjust to them. the conversation I had with him was incredibly informative, understanding and empathetic. He clearly explained all of my options and allowed me to make the choice. Then he explained all of this again to the optician in the front who helped me pick out some really nice, comfortable glasses. I received the glasses in a week and even went back to get them adjusted. Everyone in this office is incredibly polite, professional, and on your side. adjusting to the new glasses wasn't easy, but because I knew what was happening and why, I stuck it out. I would definitely recommend this place of business.

Doctors are pretty thorough, but not personable. They walk in without introducing themselves and it feels like you're just another transaction. We had a good experience with one of their staff, Amy. She was very patient with my daughter when she did the contact lens training. One of the front desk staff, Nikki, is really rude and demeaning!!! She either does not greet you at all or when she does, it's so fake! I asked her a simple question and she answers back with annoyance! There were many good reviews about this place stating that the staff was nice and friendly, which was why we came here. It's too bad our family did not have a good experience.
