Hey Gregory, Thats a great question! There are multiple ways to get images on garments. The one you choose really depends on how many shirts youd like made. Typically for less than a 24 shirts wed suggest digital printing. Its basically like running a shirt through an ink jet printer. It can do lots of colors, and looks great. Digital printing a shirt is somewhat slow and the price typically doesnt go down as you add more shirts. Once you start needing a higher quantity of shirts, thats where youd want to go with screen printing. Automatic screen printing presses can do a high volume of consistent prints, but unlike digital prints, they can take a very long time to set up. The majority of our costs isnt the ink we put on the shirt, its the time it takes our staff to setup and tear down the presses. We start our pricing at 36 pieces because thats where screen printing starts to compete price wise with something like digital printing. Its like the old saying, when you print a book, the first book costs $10,000, every book after that costs 50 cents, so you sell all the books for $12,00. Screen Printing has some of the same issues offset book printing does. The real cost is the time it takes to setup and tear down. If you think digital prints sound like the right fit for you, you might try contacting Big Frog. I know they have two locations in the Portland area. http://www.bigfrog.com/ - Jamie

i would like to know why you are required to buy at least 36 shirts every time you buy instead of just buying 1-10 shirts at a time.
Recently we ordered company sweaters and tee shirts from them. They came in a timely manner and they even helped me find the right lettering we needed and couldn't find! We noticed the sweaters were having issues and some of the shirts as well, they worked very quickly and replaced everything! The new gear looks and feels fantastic thank you Jen and Ryan and everyone else for all the hard work you guys did for us!
Jamie & Jennifer ROCK! They did a great job with my T's and they turned them around in a matter of a few days. Their prices are more than reasonable and the quality is top notch. I will only go to Ink Brigade for my T's! Matter of fact, I need a new batch, I think I'll give them a call......
