This was my second and last visit to Yesnick Vision Center. The staff was pleasant but I was completely disappointed with the doctor. He was rude and condescending. I was in for an eye exam and mentioned I was concerned about my vision and dry eyes, as my prescription had run out. He asked about my symptoms and as I was explaining them, he would stop me and make rude comments. When I mentioned the increased dryness, he brushed it off reminding me that we live in a dry climate and everyone has dry eyes. When he asked if I used any eye drops, I told him what I was using and how often. The OTC drops dont help for long and I have to use them constantly throughout the day, which is not always easy to do at work. He refused to renew my prescription stating it was too expensive and I could treat my dry eyes with OTC remedies. Any concerns were casually dismissed. The attitude and rush to get me out was a complete change from my first visit. The optical staff and reception staff were friendly and thorough, but I will not be back.
Sorry we did not meet your expectations, that 99% of our patients achieve. Studies reveal that buying eyeglasses online has a 50% failure rate. Meaning they get one eye correct. Vision is to important not see out of both eyes. Wouldn't you agree? Thanks for the update. Dr. Y

They didnt do anything technically wrong, but this is not the same place I picked a few years ago. I picked them in part because of their retinal imaging machine. Something I was willing to pay extra to get. This time, no imaging and no discussion as to why. I had been trying to get this appointment for some time, but my travel schedule made it difficult over the last year. This is not their fault as it seems that there are a lot of people that jive well with the staff and doctor. Unfortunately, that is not me. My communication with them seemed strained and, as soon as they learned I was considering buying my glasses online, they pretty much shutdown. No discussion as to why buying from them is better. The next day I realized they had not provided my PD. I went back to discuss this as I dont have vision insurance and paid cash about 60% more than other establishments for an eye exam. When I arrived, they recognized me and were very niceuntil I asked for my PD. Then one persons demeanor changed as she informed me that this is an extra fee of $10. This was the same person that the day before told the receptionist to take a message from the person on the phone because she already knew what the person wanted and didnt want to talk at the time. The receptionist took the message and then I heard the receptionist say she said you would know what it was regarding and please call her back today because you said you would call her back yesterday At that point, I declined the extra fee for my PD and wished them a good day. I went down the road to a competitor with the intent to pay them for my PD. When I asked how much, they told me they do it for free. The person then had a discussion with me about the reasons to buy in-person as opposed to online so we picked out a frame that we both liked. In short, Dr. Yesnick and most of his staff did nothing wrong. The exam was performed in a reasonable amount of time. I just didnt seem to gel with them.

Have nothing but wonderful things to say. Everyone there is attentive, kind and the equipment/building are continuously being sanitized. They have always done everything they can to fit me in the schedule when Ive had unexpected problems that needed to be addressed as soon as possible. I would highly recommend YESnick to anyone!

Theres a mixup when I came in.my Insurance only covers glasses and I was outfitted with contacts. Checking out they wanted to charge me a 180$ , I denied so they made me take out the contacts and throw them in the trash along with my contacts. Thank god I had a pair of glasses in my truck so I could drive home
