Hector, We offer a No Commitment Option, a Freeze Option, and explain the cancellation procedures and policies at the time of enrollment before any paperwork is signed. If you chose to go with our Discounted 12 month agreement (which is a choice), we do expect that, if we honor our commitment to provide you the service at a discounted rate, you keep your commitment to pay for that service for the term of the agreement and follow the cancellation procedures. We do provide for exceptions which are also laid out in the agreement. We are an honest, veteran-owned, latin-owned, woman-owned business that work very closely with our members, so I will have to respectfully disagree with your assessment. You chose to not follow any of our agreement at the end of your term, provide any explanation, or come in to even discuss cancellation and that does not mean that we, as a business, provided for zero flexibility. We provided you with flexibility by allowing you to cancel by email (which is not the proper process agreed upon.)

We are not a deceptive practice. We review the contract with you, provide you with the agreement immediately by email and give you 3 days to determine to cancel before it is fully locked in. We have you read the first paragraph that clearly lays out how much the membership is, how long your agreement is, and the penalty of early termination. We give you options to go with or without a contract and options in case life happens such as freezing or transferring your account. We ask you if you have any questions before you sign and we inform you that it is a legal binding agreement (which you must check off) prior to signing. We offer over 24 class times in a small group personalized environment, virtual classes, and an open gym. We provide you with a cancellation option if you move more than 25 miles from the studio. (We currently have members that live over an hour from our studio and continue to choose to come in.) We cannot control what happens outside of our studio and can only choose to provide you with the service we committed to when we signed the agreement with you. We offer a No contract, Month to Month agreement and a 12 month contract agreement. Consistency over time equals results. As health advocaters, we give you incentives for wanting to train longer which is why the price per session decreases with the higher memberships and longer commitments (this is standard). The difference in each membership ranges from $30-$50 (pretty good savings). When people sign up at our facility we explain our polices very thoroughly & even repeat it twice as our goal is to not have any issues down the road. Remember not only do we sign you up as owners, we also train you as well. We are the ones that deal with any issues that arise. Our goal is to keep peace in the place we are 16 hours out of our day giving 100% to our members. We are a small business & policies are how we protect ourselves from going out of business. Especially during a pandemic where we have no idea what will happen next. Like any business owner we learn through experience. Every policy we have created was due to issues we had in the past. With each & every policy we created we have been able to fix problems. This has given us more time to focus on what we do BEST! TRAINING OUR AMAZING MEMBERS! and we hope that our members, who we give 100% to as their trainers, value us & understand that we are also trying to make a living. We value giving you a personal experience which is why limit our group session size & have a booking system in order to reserve a slot. We are not volume based like most gyms so this is why we have firm policies. I understand that instead of coming into the studio and speaking with us about your particular situation to see if there was anything else that can be done to avoid your obligation to the agreement, you've opted to give us a bad review on google and attempt to negatively impact our small business. Our system may not work for everyone; However, If you would like to come in and discuss it, I will still extend the offer to discuss your particular situation and see what can be done. Do not enroll in TAP OUT. You will absolutely 100% regret it. I was lied to in reference to the membership agreement, I was misinformed n information was omitted. They bring you in with a lot of conversation, and friendliness. In my case, the lady was reading the agreement off of the screen, the monitor was turned away from me, she immured VERY important clauses. My job transferred me over 30 mins away from this location and from my home AND TAP OUT will not cancel UNLESS I pay for the whole year. In 5 mins she read the agreement, all smiles n talkative but never did it cross my mi d that this nice looking friendly lady , will turn out to be this tricky. I will give it a shot in court but its likely she has practice , knowledge and has been this route before, I will probably end up in collections and she will continue to live her happy smiley life pretending to be there for the community.
Hi Jeannie. Im sorry you feel this way. I would like to correct some of the information you listed here. First, as explained when you first sign up, we are a reservations based program since we are a small group training studio. If you cancel your class in advance, there is no fee because it opens up the space for a member who wanted to participate and is able to attend. When you No Show a class, there is a $12 fee because you reserved a class and did not come, in essence taking the opportunity from another member. Since we do care about our members, we want everyone to have an equal opportunity to attend the classes they desire. We only do this on waitlisted classes, we state that up front, and we give warning the first time it happens, so it should not be a surprise. Cancellation process takes two seconds and is done on your very own app on your cell. Second, we do not require anyone to purchase our gloves. Everyone has the option to purchase gloves as they please. We offer a high quality glove because hand/wrist injuries are prevalent in boxing or striking sports and we want to ensure to provide the correct equipment. Third, We do not try to offer any band thats $200. Both of our entire equipment packages (which includes gel wraps, boxing gloves, a MyZone belt, and a T-shirt) is less than $200, so Im not sure where this is coming from; however, this is also an option and not necessary to be a member with us. Lastly, we do care about our members. As owners, we are always at the studio, we know every member by name, we know parts of their stories, and we work with many of them. We believe in working with you towards your goals, but we cannot do it for you. You must attend classes regularly and do the things we teach in order for us to help you achieve your goals. Dont go to this gym! If you sign up for a class and miss it, thats -$12 out of your pocket plus you have to pay your monthly fee. All they care about is money Its a kick boxing gym and you have to buy their overpriced gloves; Just go to tjmaxx is my suggestion. Then they try to sell you a band to track your heart rate monitor your pace for about $200 be careful because they will trick you into buying anything at this place. All they want is money they dont care about your weight goals
