Far too expensive for what you actually get. These are Ritz hotel prices. Go further down the west coast to Oban and you will find the same, just as fresh, at half the price. This place is ripping people off because they are usually tourists. Very very poor value for money.

So sorry you were disappointed, sounds like a case of 'mistaken identity' with the wine... we sell it by the glass (125ml) or by the carafe (250ml)... we would have been happy to top it up for you & added extra bread to the platter, nothing worse than being short on wine!!

This was our sixth visit but we've not been for some time. The menu range has diminished and while the taste and quality of the food was good, it was rather overpriced, a platter with little bread for two. I totally appreciate it was local seafood and value that. Service was very good. We paid for a 250 ml glass of wine and all laughed when it arrived - about 3 mouthfuls. We all felt it was about 125ml. I would visit again but stay away from the platter and maybe have a one dish plate.

Outstanding!! Highlight of our trip. Beautiful setting with lovely garden. Gets busy quickly though! We arrived at opening time for lunch and it was pretty much full within 15 mins! (Proves how good it is!). We had the seafood platter. Quick service and truly excellent fresh seafood. The scallops in particular were beautiful
