This is such a Beautiful park. Despite the sewer being dug up at our site and the three days out of 13 there was zero internet service Id still give it 5 stars, except for the fact the office management of the park seems to only want to cater to weekenders. All During the week many, many spaces were vacant. The every Thursday -Saturday night they are full. This booking of only weekends means that people that would like to stay longer cant. From a business stand point it makes no sense to take money for a 3 night stays, which then prohibits taking money for a 5 night stays. The spaces are large and perfectly manicured, very nice. But out of a 13 day stay the 3 spaces near us were vacant 9 of the 13 days ! Yet it was impossible to stay longer, Because they were full. During the week we counted 38 open spaces Monday - Thursday, They also have a policy of a max of 14 days allowed for your stay. We met many people that were staying there and had a problem with this policy. And movers to other local rv parks to compensate for this major issue/flaw. The staff told us that most people only wanted to stay weekends there. This obviously is incorrect. We talked to at least 16 campers ALLL of them stated this wasnt true and they would stay on average 1 week more if allowed to. Then When moving to another local RV park we discovered several campers wed met in country acres camping, staying there. All had the same issues we had, had.And finally when a package I had sent to country acres hadnt arrived by my leaving time. I asked if theyd hold it and Id come pick it up, they originally said sure. Then at check out I was told, Id better try to reroute it because if it came there, theyd put it right back in the truck. Such a Very apathetic and unhelpful office staff, if I owned the place they would not work for me. Being rude and unhelpful with a smile on your face is still rude and unhelpful. I almost told them I was an RV Life and camperdium reviewer/blogger, but I guess they wouldnt care, they dont own the park, apparently do not care if the park makes money or not, and will find out soon enough when reading this and other reviews I will be posting.
Gave 1 star because the camp ground was very well maintained but this was the first time I ever stayed at a camp ground that was right next to a busy highway. The noise was overwhelming and non-stop. One tractor trailer after the other, sirens at one point, and the icing on the cake was the lawn mowing right behind us on a neighboring property while we had visitors. The noise from the traffic was all day and a good part of the night. If you don't mind the noise, then this is the place for you.
Country Acres Campground, a truly ADA wheelchair accessible, clean and family friendly Campground. This is by far the BEST place we have stayed at. The maintenance crew asked if there was anything they could do to help with wheelchair acess and I suggested one small mat near the pool ramp area. I got stuck in the stones when trying to get onto the ramp. They said they would fix that and he took measurements immediately following our conversation. The pool doesn't have a chair lift either. However, I don't swim often so it didn't matter to me. Overall this Campground has the friendliest staff, the cleanest facilities, and an overall great experience!
