Thanks for your review, we are sorry you felt it necessary to leave negative feedback. Having fully reviewed the communication chain we believe we have done everything within our power to guide, assist and quote for a product that would meet both your specification and budget. Unfortunately for all parties the specification of the product was subject to many changes. From an initially simple job it progressively became more complex, eventually being made up of multiple different paper stocks within a single document, and critically changing the size from A5 to Royal. This change of size mean that it is only possible to run the job 2up rather than 4up, (i.e we would need to run twice the number of sheets) Understanding that you had little knowledge of the printing process we endeavoured to offer advice on alternative ways to achieve the premium result you wanted, whilst also keeping costs down, and going as far as to produce free test sheets. In our opinion there wasnt a way for us to achieve the exact specification you asked for the budget you have and this is why we recommended your accept another quote youd received from a different printer. Our ethos is to make sure our clients always end up with the most suitable product for their budget, even it that means us missing out on a job and this is why we made the recommendation. We understand your frustration that the process took longer than you might have hoped, however these were due to changes made to the specification which was outside of our control. Its a shame we never managed to get as far as producing your book for you as we are sure it would have been great. Best of luck with your project.

Poor communication and price point - changes to originally quoted prices after sample print already done. I would not use for business/commercial printing, as they can cause major delays to production and forecasts. What you see is not what you get.

Hello Rhod, thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm sorry that you didn't find our service up to scratch today. I have reviewed the issues with the team, and would like to address some of the issues raised. Firstly; apologies for the minute delay in being served, we do endeavour to serve customers as quickly as possible, but in this instance the member of staff was on a phone call with another customer which meant they couldn't attend to your requirements immediately. We do usually have at least two or three people attending the shop but due to staff illness we were short staffed today. Secondly; the edges of the booklet being cut off. I've reviewed the scan and can't seem to identify the area's cut off, the content all appears to be there. We'd really need to see the book again to identify the issue with you and rectify. As discussed on the phone prior to this review we did request the opportunity to rectify the situation or as a last resort refund your payment. Finally; The dent in the booklet; in order to get a good quality scan the spine of the booklet must be pressed down onto the scanning glass, otherwise the content in the middle closest to the spine would not be visible. We are sorry that this has made a dent in the booklet, all staff have been informed to make customer aware of this possibility prior to scanning. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile to meet our customers expectations and deadlines, and I am sorry that in this instance we didn't manage to do so. All I wanted was a small number of scans of an A5 booklet. The scans that they did, which took around 10 minutes to do, cut off the edges of my booklet when I specifically asked for the edges to be shown. The lady behind the glass doors saw me enter the shop and remained seated for a good minute before I had to knock on the window to ask for assistance and when I finally get served the woman doing the scanning sighed when I asked if the booklet could be printed. To top it off they left a very noticeable dent and a crease in my booklet, extremely unhappy with this service. I feel generous giving this company a 2/5.
