We are so sorry you had a negative experience. We offer both routine examinations and medical examinations at our office. Medical examinations are more complicated and require more time. When a potential patient asks for a quote at our office, our staff will ask some screening questions to help determine the most accurate pricing for your examination.

PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE! The two front desk receptionist at this location are extremely rude specially the Asian one, When o ask for exam prices they ask you a bunch of questions and if you are diabetic the prices goes up! Never heard of anything like that my dad is diabetic and he always pays just regular check up! Do not come here unless you want to overpay!

Dear Sir, Just as a mechanic must check under the hood or a dentist must check inside a mouth, an optometrist must check inside of the eyes to check the parts of the eye responsible for continuing clear vision. Patients that claim to be healthy or see perfect without glasses can still have potentially blinding or life-threatening conditions uncovered during their retinal examination. We discuss with patients their options for retinal evaluation during the scheduling process so that they can determine their best choice prior to their visit. I apologize that our office does not encourage the sub-par eye examination you requested.

Dear Ms. A, I am sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with our service. Upon your initial presentation, I could see that you were very frustrated with your most recent contact lenses. I offered you three different lens materials by two different companies on your first visit. You have a specialty prescription that does not exist in a contact lens fitting set in ANY optometrists office. Since we cannot make contact lenses in our office, we do have to order them from a supplier which takes about one week. The Acuvue lenses were first to arrive exactly one week after we ordered them. You picked them up a week after we called you to tell you they had arrived and scheduled your follow-up for one week after that. You missed that follow-up appointment and did not return for another week. One great thing about our office is that we DO NOT SELL CONTACT LENSES. I have no incentives to fit all patients in a certain brand. I can fit each patient in the material and lens that will work best for their visual needs. We allow 45 days to complete all contact lens care and you were still within that window even though you had missed some of your follow-ups. If we were to have a delay in contact lens shipping, we absolutely will extend that length of time to accommodate our patients. You did have concerns about your updated glasses prescription, but I am not able to help with a pair of glasses that does not yet exist. I sincerely hope that your next optometrist can help you find your perfect fit. -Dr. Deegan

Unprofessional service. I just left the doctor's office after the contact lenses trial. The doctor tells me how I wasted 20 minutes of her time and insisted that it was my prescription even though it wasn't. If you do go to her office, she will take up all your time trying to peddle accuvue products even when they are a horrible fit. She doesn't listen to anything that you say, she just tried to force on you whatever she has. And when you speak up, you become a time wasters and she tries to make sure that you are outside the 45 day time period that is available for adjustments. My first visit was scheduled in less than a matter of days. Thereafter appointments are at least a week out to waste you time. This was my honest experience with this office. Update 6/25/2017: A lot of what is posted in the response is untrue. Before I left the office on that first visit, I did let you know that one eye was fuzzy and I recall your response being that my left eye was "missing that 0.25 difference in the prescription", you asked me to try it out to see if they continued popping out (the issue I had with the previous prescription). In good faith I agreed. You informed me that they would arrive in 3 - 5 days and I called on the fourth day. I received a call at about 4pm on Friday to pick up the lenses. I did not make it there until the following week. Upon pick up, I asked about the lenses with the 0.25 difference and was told that what they handed to me was what was ordered. When we had the follow up appointment, I explained to you that I honestly could not see out of the Left eye and even the prescription for the glasses was off. I was told to go ahead and make them with the new prescription (which I did), as you refused to make any changes to the prescription telling me that it was THE SAME as the sunglasses I wore to your office on the date of the first test. I had also taken the liberty to get my previous prescription from my optometrist. The Left eye IS weaker both on the newly made glasses and compared to the previous prescription. People should speak up when there is something wrong with what they get or are prescribed by a medical professional. Because I spoke up I was told that I was wasting the Drs' time. I paid up front and out of pocket for services. When I called on 6/23/2017 to check on the progress of the "updated contacts" which I was told would arrive latest by 6/26/2017. I was told that I had been sent a release letter in the mail which I received on the 23rd. If someone had called or emailed to inform me, I would have gone somewhere else all week. This office, in my experience, is not for anyone who questions what does not work for them. I have worn glasses for over 20 years and it has never been this difficult to get a pair of contacts or glasses. I understand that ophthalmologists do not manufacture contacts and glasses but they should be able to provide a good prescription or tell you that your prescription does not exist (a lie). Thanks for the release.
