Please do not waste your time here. On the other hand, if you want to be lied to, deceived, or enjoy being apart of a good bait and switch scam, then disregard this review. I searched online for a 2022 Honda Civic Hatchback, and found one available on their website. I submitted my information for further inquiry and received multiple emails from various different employees of David Hobbs asking if I was still interested in the car. I went through the process of becoming pre-qualified for the loan online, and received a call from Bobby the financing manager on Monday stating I was approved and the vehicle was available. I scheduled an appointment to meet with Bobby for the following evening, and was under the strong impression that I would simply test drive this vehicle, sign for the pre-qualified loan, and be on my way. He specifically told me to ask for him upon arrival as I was already pre-approved for my loan. I drove 45 minutes to the dealer, and was greeted by a sales woman. She directed me to Bobbys office, where he could barely look me in the eye as he told me the vehicle I saw online was just sold this afternoon, but instead the sales woman would be able to discuss other Civic Hatchbacks available on the lot. After she wiped the crumbs off her desk from her dinner, she proceeded to tell me I was in luck as they had another vehicle that was the *same exact* model, make, trim, year, and color that I applied for on the website, but that there would be a $5000 dealers add-on fee for some paint and whatever else nonsense they tried to tack on the vehicle. When I told her I was pre-approved at MSRP price for this specific vehicle, she told me that this dealership has a $5000 add-on dealers fee to all of their vehicles, and that I would never find a dealership that would not have these additional fees. I gave them no more of my time and walked out. I was there for no more than three minutes. This vehicle has been listed online for 100 days and has been viewed 244 times, and is STILL listed on their website despite being sold today. If they truly sold the car today, a phone call to inform me before I drove 45 minutes in Milwaukee rush hour traffic would have been nice so I could make an informed decision. Otherwise, I have no choice but to believe they actually never intended to sell me the car for my pre-approved loan amount at MSRP, and instead used this as a scam to get me in the door and hope I was stupid enough to fall for it. Guess its my fault as the description mentions add-ons and accessories not included in price. You can cross David Hobbs off the list of honorable dealerships.
