I recently took advantage of an advertised special where I had x rays taken, a cleaning, and exam by Dr. Lane. When Dr. Lane finished his examination, he concluded that I needed a substantial amount of dental work in order to bring my teeth to a healthy state. I received an estimate of almost $7,000 for purposes of obtaining 4 crowns (at $1550 each) and 2 refillings. I specifically asked him if he could refill the tooth that he said was the worst and he said no - only a crown would fix the problem. I had no pain or sensitiviy in any of these teeth, so I decided to get a second opinion. The other dentist concluded that "the worst tooth" indeed had a cavity and would need to be cleaned and refilled. The new dentist examined the rest of my teeth and concluded that none of my other teeth needed attention. I paid him $160 for his service and felt very much relieved. Based on my experience with Dr. Lane, I can only surmise that he was either incompetent or untrustworthy. In any event, I did not need a crown as Dr. Lane said I needed. Dr. Lane did have a very nice staff. I would never return to his office, nor would I ever recommend him to any of my friends for dental work.

Mr. Krupnick, I truly believe there is a misunderstanding regarding your mother's treatment. I have never surgically placed an implant in my entire career. Your mother had complex surgery provided by a board certified Periodontist who performed the surgical care you mention. The fee you mention was not entirely paid to me as the surgeon was also paid for his services rendered. I can provide you with the treatment plan your mother agreed to for my part of the restorative process. I can honestly say it does not total $34,000. I have never charged that amount for the same treatment I have provided to other patients in the past. The last time I saw your mother was in July 2018. Prior to her leaving, I consulted with the Periodontist to provide your mother with the names of qualified dentists to provide the necessary follow up maintenance required for these cases. My protocol is to always see patients like your mother every four months after final delivery of the prosthesis. I was surprised that the first time I was contacted was 1,5 years after she left my practice. I did try to provide a resolution, however my suggestion was not acted upon. I truly believe that if I was contacted before 1.5 years had gone by, that your mothers complaint could have easily been rectified. Respectfully, Dr. Robert E. Lane

Dr. Lane accepted my 83 year old as a patient for dental implants when he knew she was moving and could not provide follow up treatment and adjustments. He had promised to find her a dental practice in her new town of residence and would work out the costs with said new provider. Cost: $34,000 A year and a half later, none of what was promised transpired . The teeth needed adjustment and despite numerous attempts to get this resolved, nothing transpired. Eventually my mother was in so much discomfort due to needed adjustments not being done, she paid $2900 to a local dentist to fix the issues. It seems to us that with a fee this exorbitant, especially because he would no longer be treating her, Dr. Lane should have held up his end of the agreement. The bottom line is that given his advanced knowledge of her relocation, he should have recommended she receive treatment in her new town. My recommendation is if you have an elderly loved one, you do not seek treatment from this provider. He certainly did not do what was promised.

This office has been amazing. They really do care. The service is great and the Doctor is a guy that takes pride in what he does. We have a terrible situation from a nationally advertised company that has absolutely destroyed our life and Doctor lanes office has been working very hard and very smart on helping to repair the situation. The office has been a light at the end of the tunnel for us. I don't believe this to to be true anymore. That's how he started out but did not finish that way. He rushed us through and would not let me in the office because of the virus. He gave My wife the teeth and weather they fit right or wrong did not care just wanted us out. All the things we asked about with the fit were never taken care of. Everything he did had to be removed and all his sugestions about what he was going to do to help the situation were not correct. My wife was a difficult situation that he did not or could not deal with. He let a 70 year old woman leave his office in terrible pain and never looked back or even cared. He is not someone I would reccomend to anyone I cared about.

HONEST!! Dr Lane is the most honest dentist out there! Today he prepped me for a crown but when he got in there and opened it up he was able to see that it was not necessary. He told me i didnt need it, and that a filling would suffice! Had he done the crown anyway i would never have known. Not only that but i have new insurance and his receptionist (his wife, also a dentist) took the time out to call them and then explain what would be covered before the procedure! In May of last year my husband cracked his front tooth (very visibly) a few days before the weekend of our daughters bat mitzvah. Dr Lane told him to come right in and he fixed it temporarily and said if it broke again before the celebration to call him. It did! He fixed it again at no charge when the temporary fix (which he warned was just for this emergency) came undone! His dental hygienist Cassie is the most gentle and wonderful hygienist. Shes very knowledgeable as well. Shai, another hygienist on the team, is also great! Weve been going to Dr Lane for years now and I would definitely recommend his practice for all your dental needs for you and your family!! Not only is he honest with a good bedside manner but hes competent and well skilled and experienced!

On February 16th 2016 and then again on February 22nd 2016 I was in the office for a cleaning and then to have 3 cavities filled. I was instructed by Donna the office manager to pay the full amount for the services rendered up front and she assured me that she would have the insurance reimbursement checks mailed to me personally. Unfortunately the checks were not mailed to me, they were mailed to Dr. Lanes office on 2/25/2016. I have called the office over 5 times and sent emails requesting a check be mailed to me and still have not received it. It is now the middle of may and these crooks will not disperse my money. Think twice about using these people.
