The store is very cute and staff were reluctantly accommodating. Coffee (americano) however was less than flavorful though. Sadly more like watery hotel drip coffee. Cant say anything about the food as we didnt try anything.

Hi Sorry for the delay in my response! I wanted to personally thank you for letting me know you had a bad experience with our staff this past week and am so sorry you thought the vibe was less than friendly! Id like to share a little bit about our team. They really are the nicest, kind hearted people and we generally get compliments on how friendly they are. COVID has changed all of our lives and I wish we could fix it! Our staff has to wear masks so you cant see them smiling. Its really hot behind the mask behind the bar at the espresso and coffee machines and they have to be behind plexiglass. They cant hear customers and our customers cant hear them. They have to talk loudly to be understood and they have been busier than ever this year. We have been short-staffed all year and they are exhausted and I know they are trying to be their best everyday. All of this is no excuse for being rude ever. I believe in our people and hope that you got them on a bad day. Im so sorry. We expect our team to really care for our guests! I hope you will give us another chance on your next trip up to Door County and if we get a chance to meet, Ill treat you to a cup of coffee! If youd like to chat about this, please give me a call. The coffee was smooth but the staff at the counter were bitter. Kitchen was closed due to staffing issues. The other employees gave the I dont want to be here vibe.

Absolutely love their coffee, its the only black coffee I enjoy drinking without any creamer or sugar. I was a little upset I couldnt buy their coffee when I moved to NV but realized I can order online & did just that!! Not having to change coffee brands or my morning routine after I moved, made it that much easier

Massive selection of coffee with plenty of options in bulk or plain, blends, flavored, and decaffeinated options. If was hard to leave without a few bags. I'm glad they let you buy the bulk coffee by the pound and measure it all together so we grabbed a number of small bags to sample allot of it. We are half way through our selection and all of them have been great. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.

I love Door County Coffee, but was a little let down. Hear me out. First, I enjoyed seeing the coffee making process and love that they have an observation window! I didn't know this and thought it was so cool. They also have a variety of sweet little treats (like caramel clusters!) that hit the spot. The cafe let me down a little. I asked the barista for the sweetest thing on the menu. It was my first time trying out DC coffee on site. I waited about five minutes for my piping hot coffee and was back on the road. When it cooled - it was NOT one ounce of sweet. It tasted like simple black coffee with a small hint of caramel. This was the first time I did not finish my DC coffee. Hoping for a chance for a better experience, soon!
