Refused to mail me my prescription instead trying to get me to renew it just to get my $$$. I don't live close to this optometrist I don't want to use them anymore. The associate who responds to emails needs to learn how to talk to patients not professional. Don't go here they will refuse you your prescription if it's more than a year later!
I have only rated Woodbine Eye Care a one because I couldn't rate them a zero. I had an exam about a year ago and a new prescription was ordered. I picked it up when I was informed that they were ready and drove home (10 minutes away) and was nauseous by the time I reached home. Having worn glasses for most of my life, I knew something wasn't right and immediately drove back to their offices. Another brief exam and the old lenses replaced and I was off. I picked up the new glasses when the prescription came in. I noticed that I had to move everything I read to a position in front of my left eye. I went back to WEC, they checked the glasses out and said everything was fine. I asked to see on of the other docs and was not happy with the response. I then visited optometrist and even an ophthalmologist in this area. "Everything looks fine" was their opinion. As a last resort I contacted my optometrist I used for years in the Houston, Texas, area. He set up an appointment and we made the trek there. Not only did he prescribe new lenses, he found that one of the (bi-focal) that was in the my glasses WAS MADE 90 DEGREES OF! These glasses had (supposedly) been checked at least twice at WEC and this was not caught. Can anybody say "time to see an attorney?"

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed. Dr. Trace Barton is amazing. He answered all of my questions and explained everything as he performed my exam. This is my second year with Woodbine Eye Care and I'm so glad I made the switch.
Hello and thanks for your feedback. Our office is attempting to do everything in our power to assist patients who want to use our office but have insurance that we are not in network for. We have put extra money and training into making this an easy process if you choose to trust us with your eye care because we know that patients dont have the time to file for their own reimbursement. We hope this helps to clarify our intent.

Attempted to make an appointment because they "accept" my insurance. Turns out they want you to pay out of pocket and be reimbursed through your insurance. Feels very bait and switch to me. Will not bother coming back here even if they change their minds.
