Purchased 1/2 plate aluminum to be cut to a particular length. Received bent metal plates outside of the tolerances they promise. One was also 1/8 over cut. Called to have them exchanged, was told I needed to send a picture. The customer is always right, they should have asked me to bring them in for an exchange, not ask for me to provide proof. If it turned out I was wrong (I wasn't) and they weren't bent or bowed, then they could have addressed it then. I don't appreciate needing to provide evidence in order to have my concerns addressed. It's insulting. I already bought new plates from someone else. An expensive lesson, but now I know where I need to go for quality manufacturing

Coremark has been my main destination for metal for a few years. Their in store staff is great, however, the moment you have to deal with their account reps and need something laser cut that goes out the window. I have spent over $20k on materials and cutting services in the last year and every time there have been errors in the order. When requesting to have parts nested in a specific manner to reduce waste and cost I was told We are doing the best we can with nesting these parts. So the estimator will nest the parts in a way that you get what you need and get good quality parts. So what you got is the best that we can do here. While not surprised This order also was incorrect. Onto another company as the lack of consideration for the customer, lack of integrity, and overall slow responses have driven me to take my business elsewhere. Simply attempting to get a quote on a cutting job took over two weeks.
