While most of my dinner companions were pleased with their meals, I was not. Ordered a $32 cioppino special which came appetizer sized and I had to peel my own two shrimp. Who really wants to stick their fingers in a fish soup? Terribly disappointing and I left hungry. The waitress put down two small bread baskets with 6 pieces for 7 people. The lonely baguette was delicious, while the rest of the bread in the basket was inedible. Way too noisy and I went home and ate dinner.

The positives: excellently prepared food and beverages. Quite tasty all! The negatives: loud; tables small and tightly packed; minimalist decor, cigarette smoke wafting in from patio. Adult beverages (puttin' on the spritz, boro old fashioned, bourbon sour) flavorful, well presented but portioned small - ice was taller in rocks glass than the drink on the old fashioned with liquid libation one inch lower than the rim of the glass. Risotto ($20) consisted of one measuring cup of risotto, add four colossal shrimp ($19 extra). Cauliflower gnocchi ($17) consisted of twelve normal size (cauliflower) gnocchi. Polenta with peas and bacon ($8) crab bisque ($16) panel toast ($9) espresso and chai spiced coffee with anise ($5)($6). I came home and snacked afterwards which one shouldn't have to do after ordering all that between two people. If you haven't much need for the cash in your wallet, this is quite the easiest place to part with it. Just plan for a snack on your way home.

Nice ambiance but the food was missing. I read all the reviews and got a recommendation from a friend to come here for my birthday. We were so disappointed. Cheese plate and bread with honey butter was great, but everything else was not. I got the spaghetti with crab, none of the ingredients went together and it was just so blah. My husband got the pork chop, overcooked and again blah no great taste. Last we tried the zepollis, like you cant mess up fried dough. Well you can, they were so dense and way too greasy. The whole experience was super disappointing. I hope they were just having a bad night.
