I am sorry to hear about the hot tub issue and that it was not able to be fixed right away. However, glad to hear that maintenance was able to get out there right away to check in it. The cabin was beautiful, awesome setting and view! Unfortunately the hot tub( which we were really looking forward to using) broke down. They sent maintenance to us fairly quickly to see if they could fix it but they had to order a part. We were pretty disappointed when mountain Laurel could only compensate us 10 percent as the hot tub was a huge part of booking this property.

This was a lovely cabin, everything was clean, we had a lot of fun with the game room downstairs and all the board games they provide as well. The sleeping arrangements were nice and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Nice cabin, very clean, I like the pine walls and floors. Lacking towel bars and hooks in bathroom - nowhere to hang towels for reuse. Only used one bed and it was quite comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. View is beautiful. Wish it had a table on the porch for outdoor eating.

Upon arrival the front motion light would not turn on, both light bulbs were blown couldn't see a thing as it was dark when we arrived. The beds were horrible, bottom floor bed had springs poking you, top floor bed was hard as a rock, middle floor bed was good but was broken head leans toward headboard, had to put piece of luggage under it just to prop it up.Back deck was covered with limbs and debris, fir pit had not been cleaned out from previous guest, neither one of the 2 fireplaces would light, the hot tub would not get above 91 degrees even with the cover on it. Dust all over top of refrigerator, egg and food all over utensils in the drawers, toothpaste spit all over walls in bathroom, green candy stuck to countertops. what appears to be human body fluid on both of the cloth couches, something nasty growing in the bbq grill, could not even cook steaks that we brought with us. Need 4 remotes to operate one tv. Murder books on night stand beside bed, not very inviting. Neighbor in cabin not friendly at all, standing there in the dark with a pistol on his hip when we returned from town after dinner to criticize how I was parking, but he would not wave back to us on our way out. Had to hang towels over the windows just so the neighbors could not see in,This was by far the worst vacation I have had in blue ridge, we have rented several cabins in the past but would never rent this one again. My fiance and I were planning on a nice romantic time away from work with no kids and didnt get any relaxation time, people spend a lot of time money and energy to go on vacation, we drove 10 1/2 hours to get there but would of rather stayed home. I have pictures of everything I have described above, except a picture of the neighbor, for obvious reasons. We need a complete redo of our vacation. This place is horrible
