More like 3.5 stars fyi. There was nothing wrong with the food or service but nothing wowed me either. Everything was just really basic. It really looked like they put in the least amount of effort to getting a passing grade. Like in their chips appetizer they are clearly store bought. Same with the fries and those were actually terrieble. Ingredients were nothing special. Given the abundance of choices in this area I would not go here again. I really don't get the hype for this place, it feels fake.

Over priced. Out of 3 people no one enjoyed their meal. One meal went back and choose another. That was not good either. No variation for non pork or meat eaters.

Today I got the blue plate special which was Shrimp and Grits. It was tasty. Having said that, it was $24. It didn't come with anything but a few onions, a sprinkle of tasso ham, and a few slivers of cooked celery. The sauce was ok. I don't feel ripped off, but I expected a bit more for the price. It was OK, not great, just OK.
