My first time at this place. Not welcoming my family at all. Workers Never smiled and you can feel tension in their behavior. Is this because my wife is wearing a head scarf? Or because of racism? Also, they don't have a big selection to choose from. We will never ever try this place again. I would give less than one star if possible.

Leah, all of our patients who use their medical insurance are billed according to the copay schedule set by their insurance company. While the copay amounts we obtain from insurance companies are accurate, there are instances when the amounts may vary slightly, or instances when we are given the wrong copay amount by the insurance company. After the visit both the patient and our office receive a copy of the EOB (Explanation of Benefits) that breaks down what a patient paid to the provider, what the insurance paid to the provider, and if there are any additional amounts that the patient is responsible to pay. We hope this explains any billing/insurance questions. Patients can also contact their insurance company for additional information, and any clarification on provider charges and copays. Had an awesome experience getting a way overdue eye exam. I was hesitant at first to do an eye dilation exam but Dr. Guy and the staff took the time to explain to me the importance of having one done with my exam. My prescription was a perfect match for what I needed. The staff was really friendly and rally pleasant. I also really liked that I was able to fill out most of the necessary forms before my appointment from my phone. Definitely a time saver.

Jesse, it's unfortunate that you feel disappointed with your experience. First, all of our patients with a high prescription/high astigmatism are informed at their first visit that their contact lens trials may take anywhere from 3-6 weeks to be received in the office because they take longer to be manufactured. Second, at our office it is always required for patients with high prescriptions, and first time contact lens wearers, to come in for a follow up visit in order for the doctor to examine the patient's eyes in the contact lenses and make sure the patient is receiving the best possible vision. All patients are explained these key points during their first visit and there are no additional charges for the second contact lens appointment. When we receive contact lens trials we call the patient to schedule the follow up exam and pick up the trials. Unfortunately, there are times when a patient's voicemail box is not set up or when a patient does not pick up the phone; therefore, no matter how many times we attempt to call the patient we are unsuccessful at reaching them. I am very disappointed with my experience here. Their communication is terrible and I keep getting roped into more appointments. I am a full time college student without a car and have to Uber to get there. Although they seem nice, I feel as though they're very inexperienced. I have been waiting over a month for my new contacts to come in and am very frustrated.
