Thank you so much for taking the time to give us a review. We apologize that youve had a negative experience with Titan Gym when terminating your sons contract. Our gyms policies are always clearly explained to potential members parents and are present in a clear and concise language in the contract. Our kids programs are specifically designed taking child development into account - attention span, restraint, foresight, manners, responsibility, and organization - are all part of the curriculum. Because repetition is required to become proficient a one month commitment is simply not enough. Children, especially those under 6 years of age, may reject the idea of a structured class in the beginning. Continuing to encourage them to attend is what yields the benefits and the results speak for themselves.

I signed my 5-year old son up for Krav Maga martial arts class, not realizing that the I binding one year contract was completely unreasonable. Yes, I did sign the contract, but man they were completely unreasonable. It appeared to be all about the money. When I had to cancel, they wouldn't even try to work with me by transferring the account over to my 10-year old who was really interested in joining. Nope, they quickly charged me $400 total ($300 to cancel and $100 for the next month that we didn't attend bc they require a 30 day notice). Each account is tied to an individual, but it's insane when that individual is a minor, especially when under the age of 7. Over that age there are some discipline lessons that could be learned, but to impose a contract under the age of 7 doesn't seem right. Forcing kids to continue attending an extra activity when they no longer have the desire impacts them negatively. Again, I understand applying this level consequence for a kid over the age of 7, but not for a 5-year old. This was not a good experience and just wanted people to be aware. Both of my boys have attended other types of activity centers. Such a shame! P.S. I hear the adult programs are very good, but this review was strictly based on the 5-year old program.

We want to start off by apologizing that our current policy could not accommodate for your teenage daughter and provide you with the peace of mind every parent needs when they send their child into a new environment. We have never had an incident or complaints regarding our age cutoffs or methods of training from the other parents that bring their daughters to our facility. In regards to badmouthing other schools, we have the highest respect for every martial artist out there that has worked hard and made their mark. We are sorry if anything we said came across as negative, that is not the way we do business. We truly hope that you found a place that suits your, and your child's, needs. I have to give Titan Gym 1 star. Although I have not attended classes there, I was immediately turned off of the location when I spoke with Daniela. Not only did she bad mouth other schools, which I find reprehensible, but she also advised me that my 13 year old daughter would be taking classes with adults. My daughter has zero martial arts experience and is very petite. Although I would think training with adults would be a great idea eventually, I think when she is first learning, it would be a better idea too train with people her own age and body type. I also have a problem with her training with adult men.

Titan Gym has exceeded all expectations I had for a gym of it's kind. Daniela will make you feel welcome from the very first email correspondence to every time you walk in the gym. And Ivo is not only a master at what he does but also a rare individual gifted at teaching those skills to complete beginners like myself. They have created an incredibly friendly atmosphere with some of the nicest members around. Coming from a guy who didn't even know how to throw a punch, every class Ivo gives me pointers that improve my fighting but also everyone I partner with is so helpful and encouraging. A nice byproduct to learning self defense - a few classes per week and I'm in the best shape of my life.

I have been a Titan for almost a year and I just love this place. I have never practiced martial arts before and I have found the instructors to be such a great mix of patient, demanding, challenging and supportive of my practice. I have never had an instructor I wouldn't highly recommend and I look forwarded to showing up early and leaving late because Daniela and Ivo have made such a unique culture at Titan

I recently found my way into the world of martial arts and not going to lie it was pretty intimidating. From hoping the instructors knew what they were doing to overall comfort in my environment. Well after countless gyms and hearing the same thing over and over I just wanted to give up and assume every gym is the same but then by the grace of God I finally came across Titan gym. I saw great ratings and such positive feedback I thought to myself what the hell do I have to loose. The answer is absolutely nothing because here I am writing a review about how much I love this place! Titan has taught me so much about not only martial arts but about myself. They have the best instructors you could ever ask for They know anything from basic fundamentals to crazy ass kicking drills along with a good shoulder to cry on. The people at this gym are my home away from home and all hold a very special place in my heart and I can't wait to start my journey into this new world with Titan gym, I would not want it any other way!
