I owned my home with My future ex husband ( We are divorcing) our closing was Monday the 6th of December. We had signed in advance and He moved to NC. Your title group was supposed to wire He and I each half of the proceeds. I get a call from The ex not your Employees stating they wired him the entire amount!! I now only have his word he will wire me the money as soon as it processes . No apology, no phone call, they left it up to him, because HE said he would take care of it. How did your employees make the determination that we have an amicable divorce happening. This mistake was not human error, it was laziness on the accountants part. When dealing with someones money, you double and triple check. In this case it could have been disastrous. It still could be if He decides to hold the money from me, which he stated he COULD DO. Then I call my divorce attorney. I expect a formal written apology and your course of action that this will never happen again. Elsie Reagan
We had two closing experiences with celebration. First one: When our original escrow agent went on vacation apparently no one was there to take our account and we almost missed our closing. They use a digital closing software called Pavaso that is defective. We spent over two hours trying to close on our sale. Closing should be made as easy and simple as possible but instead it was kind of a nightmare. Second one: They seemed on top of things. The documents were correct where before there were errors. We had a good experience the second go around.
