Im assuming based on your review you came in on a Monday. We are closed on Mondays but we had people working on the store . We have been doing renovations lately because we are expanding . Sorry about your experience. Hopefully you give us a try again in the future . Please consider coming in on a day we are open so you can change your review . Also feel free to go through all our reviews we never had a complaint like this .

First off it was little hard to find hidden away within a office complex, when I finally did find it I wasnt sure if I was at the right place, it was kinda dark, and there was a small office room with the lights off next to the entrance when you walk in and there were just stuff laying around like tools and cleaning supplies and a ladder. There some wires hanging from the ceiling. The room you first walk into didnt have anything besides some small plants in murky water. There was a hallway where you had to walk down to get to the fish. It was pretty empty though both in fish and things like gravel and decor for the fish. There were no lights on for any of the fish. However the fish they did have were big and colorful but the entire time I was there I saw no one. Feeling kinda sketched out by the atmosphere and no one being there I just left. The place felt almost abandoned if it wasnt for a couple of fish and the sound of office lights and water filters
I apologize for your experience in the shop today. We had a rush of people all at once and we only have myself and one employee. I do remember you and let you know I would be with you as soon as I finished with the customers I was with. If you come in tomorrow (Monday, when the shop is closed), I will personally open the shop and help you. I would, however, appreciate if you delete and not leave multiple reviews written by different accounts for 1 experience as this is attempting to tank our stellar review score and it is process to have google review them and delete them.

Clearly under staffed. If you plan on going here just know it will take atleast an hour just to get your fish. Then who knows how long they will take to get you checked out. Nice selection of fish. But HORRIBLE service. I waited for 25min AFTER the employee told me he would be right back to help me. After 25min of waiting i just left. Because it didnt seem like i was gonna get help anytime soon. Atleast not for another 15min. And that would be a total of 40 min i wouldve waited just to get some help getting the fish i wanted.
We are sorry you have not had a great experience from our store. We are committed to making each experience exceptional and ask that you come visit us or call us and give us a chance to correct what happened. Our recent Betta order came from a very reputable breeder and we still have all the bettas looking healthy, active, eating and have had no loss. We are happy to, and have replaced, lost livestock when we are notified.

I have debated on posting this because Ive thought it was my fault but after discussing with some other breeders Im not so sure anymore. I was recommended the shop by fish groups on Facebook. I went and got 2 beautiful bettas to add to my 50 gallon set up that housed 4 other bettas. One of them on purchase seemed super mellow while the other was extremely active and didnt think much of it because all of my bettas has different attitudes. They were quarantined for a few days and then moved into the tank. After some time I could tell one of those from the shop was sick and lethargic but had no other symptoms besides clamped fins, he ate like normal. I treated him for his clamped fins which helped and then a few days later (I only had him in my tank for 3-4 weeks) he was dying. Nothing worked on fixing him, Ive dealt with ICH, Velvet, Swim Bladder the typical betta problems. And after that my whole tank declined. I went from 6 bettas to now 3. Ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ph have been at the levels necessary for bettas. My bettas Ive had for years & months prior to the 2 new additions have rarely had issues that were near death and now my whole tank is almost wiped out. 1 of the 3 I have left is now showing symptoms of infection and I came home today to what I believe is dropsy and I have never had anything like it. Ive only ever purchased from p*tsmart and p*etco and thought i would be getting amazingly high quality bettas and it is such an unfortunate situation after having my other bettas for months & years with no betta threatening issues.
