Left a previous review about my nightmare experience here at this dump. They gave up on the repair of my bike because they couldnt figure it out and returned it to me not running but still tried to charge me $400+ for repairs they said they did. Put the dirtbike in my garage and fixed it myself it was a simple fix the starter wasnt connected to the spark plug and was ground the wrong way. Simple fix but these 2 idiots couldnt figure it out. Tell you friends family and momma never to take a bike to this shop.
Cannot say anything about service. Thought about using them but Jeff was a real loser on the phone. It was obvious my business wasnt important to him. So I rather take my money elsewhere.
Three others tried to get my bike running properly, including a Honda store/shop in Denton. All failed. The fellas at Pit Crew have it running great! Highly recommend.
Let me tell you a story; I bought a used 1999 Harley Dyna FXDWG with the tc88. These motors are known for having the cam tensioners fail at around 45k miles. It had 44k miles when I bought it. There are 2 options to keep this from destroying your engine. Replace the tensioners every 40k or so, or change to a gear driven cam set up. I called around to get quotes for the gear driven cam conversion. They were the cheapest, so I dropped it off with them to have the work done. Signed a paper saying I'd pay $2500 for that job and fixing a few oil leaks. 2 days later, they call me, and tell me that it already had gear driven cams, and that they had fixed all of my oil leaks, and tweaked a few other things. Total cost out the door, $750. They could have charged me the full $2500 and said they did the work, and I would have been none the wiser. Great guys, and they now have a customer for life.
