Parking is terrible. One lane traffic in and one lane traffic out. Entrance is poorly staffed and takes forever to get in. No benefit to purchasing tickets online. Dead lion, giraffes are inside building and all birds are inside due to avian flu. You might get to see two zebras and some goats. Take the 45 dollars youd pay for 4 and subscribe to animal planet for a month. Youll see much more.

I visited Potawatomi Zoo as part of a kindergarten field trip with the class I was subbing in , so I didn't spend quite as much time at each exhibit as I would have if I hadn't been with a group of excited six year-olds. The interpretive signs are well written and maintained, with colourful photos and informative facts and maps. The colorful carousel offers a fun experience for kids and adults. The petting zoo was a big hit with our group! There's a convenient change machine next to animal feed machines (which offer a large handful of food for fifty cents). The animals appeared to be healthy and well cared for. We visited the giraffe house and got to see the new, gorgeous residents. Their outdoor space is well designed, with an elevated platform that brings visitors up to the height of the giraffes. The staff members we encountered throughout the zoo were helpful and friendly. The gift shop was well lit and well stocked. There is a park just across the parking lot. It has wide, paved paths, a playground, picnic areas, a splash pad, and restrooms.

Its very sad that every time I try to come enjoy my membership I cant. There is no parking within 5mins of walking and it leaves my kids heart broken again. I am not sure what your plan is but you need to think about refunding those of us that can even enjoy our membership. Your parking is under construction for how long!?
